This week's Flashback Friday is featuring one of my favorite items in my closet right now - the mustard cardigan! Who knew a cardigan this colorful could be so versatile? It's equally at home in a girlie look, an office look, and a winter look! Tell me - which look is your favorite? And what items would you like to see featured for Flashback Friday?
I love that mustard cardigan especially when you pair it with bright blue. Love!
ReplyDeleteI love the 2nd and 5th looks. The mustard color looks so good with the blue!
ReplyDeleteI love the mustard paired with the blue - in the shirt and the shoes. Mustard can be such a funny color but it looks so good in all of these!
ReplyDeleteI love the black dress with the mustard and animal print!
ReplyDeleteI also have a mustard cardigan and you're right, it is extremely versatile. So much so that I have to be careful not to wear it sometimes because I don't want to wear it too often!
ReplyDeletei love the mustard--especially when paired with the leopard print! it brings out the golden undertones of the pattern. i'd love to see more flashback fridays in general, they're fun to look at!
ReplyDeleteLove it! All of them, actually, but I adore the mustard/blue looks. Where did you buy the cardigan?
ReplyDeletei love color of your cardigan. it's such a bold statement piece ... that is apparently quite versatile. my personal favorite pairing (look) is it with your silver blouse and white skirt

hey J thank you for posting every day girl!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow... there are so many items i would like to see featured for Flashback Friday! Like that khaki H&M pencil skirt with buttons, or that pretty white blouse with ruffles, white skinny jeans, red heels, you also had some interesting different ways of how you wear your scarves or maybe different ways on how to wear animal prints? ok im a freak i know your closet better than mine lol...
ReplyDeleteYour blog is by far my favorite and you are so incredibly beautiful and stylish you should have your own show or something... wish you luck and hope you get far:-)
Yeah and like if Stacey ever retires I hope you and Clinton take over cause girl youve got some skillzzzz!
ReplyDeleteI always wonder, what body type are you? And did you study your type in particular to know what flatters your body shape best, or do you just try things on and dress by instict? Just wondering because all your clothes look so amazingly good on you! Please share some of your knowledge?
ReplyDeletePS - your blog is everydays girls dream come true
Michaela, great question! I am an athletic/boyish body type. I am seriously lacking in the curves department, which is why I often belt things - it helps create a waist and gives the illusion that I have some curve to my body! I am studying up on other body types so I can help you ladies with your questions. Every woman is different and learning how to flatter your own body type is a key to dressing well! Ps. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteKatherine, I love all of these ideas, thank you so much. Red heels were on my list and I love your other suggestions, definitely look for those coming soon. You are so sweet, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteJ, It's so hard to decide, but I think my favorite is the one with the buffalo check shirt. You rock it! Oh, and for your daily ego boost, remember that YOU were the inspiration for me starting MY blog!

ReplyDeleteThanks Beth! The leopard shirt is from Express, the blue ruffle shirt is from Elegantees.com and the white ruffle shirt is from Banana Republic.
ReplyDeleteTalk about surprisingly versatile! I think I like it best with the animal print top and the last one with the gingham.
