Occasion #1: Fancy date in a warm climate. Go totally girlie and wear head-to-toe pink!
Occasion #2: Fancy date in a cold climate. A classic red dress is the ultimate Valentine's Day outfit. Wear it with some tights, boots and a black jacket for added warmth!
Occasion #3: Work. Add a touch of pink with a silk blouse paired with work-appropriate neutrals.
Occasion #4: Classroom. Does your V-day involve hosting a classroom full of kiddos? Try a festive purple cardigan paired with denim and comfortable pumps.
Occasion #5: Not celebrating. You hate Valentine's Day and want to rebel. Show your wild side in leopard print and loud pants.

I love look #4. Not your traditional holiday look (no red!) which I love.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute ideas! I love your #5 rebel look. More because it's the rebel look than anything else. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteMy first choice would be #1,,it looks sweet and innocent,,and then #2 is very close,,as it looks like a sweet romantic outfit..
ReplyDeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteI love the red dress with the black booties! I bought the big Michael Kors watch last week for my Valentine's Day gift to myself and LOVE IT. Hope you are doing well and enjoy your weekend and V-Day!
ReplyDeleteHaha had to laugh at #5, that's definitely me lol
ReplyDelete#2 is my favorite such a classy elegant yet sexy look!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever told you you kinda look like Miley Cyrus? Except she is only cute, while you are stunningly breathtakingly GORGEOUS. But yeah, you kind of look alike:-)
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person who has ever told me that!! My BFF is a dead-ringer for Miley Cyrus and sometimes people say that her and I look alike, but never Miley! That's too funny.
ReplyDeleteAh, the MK watch. That is a huge fashion moment, congrats!!
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere you take all your pics in one big chunk over the weekend. Does that mean you don't actually necessarily wear those outfits?
ReplyDeleteHi J, could you do a post on how you organize your closet? I think SEEING your closet would be a treat for most of us here.. pics wink wink lol... but an insight into how you organize your stuff would also be very interesting! This was a great post btw, I love outfit #2!
ReplyDeleteThat is correct! This is not so much a personal style blog as it is a how-to fashion blog. Some posts I talk about how/where I wore the featured outfit and those are a bit more "journal-entry" type (for example, look #1 I wore to the ballet and I talked about the experience in my post), but other times I put together looks from my closet to illustrate different topics I want to cover. For example, I live in Orlando so I don't need too many cold-weather looks but I know most of you are dealing with snow so I try to show winter outfits too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jolanda! I've had this on my to-do list for months. I'm hoping to post some pictures and a video in the next couple weeks!
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time deciding what to wear... I love #3 and #5. Keep the posts coming. :-)
ReplyDeleteOooh I love the first and the last look they are both opposite but I love the contrasting styles. I will maybe post my Vday Outfit later this weekend. lol

so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits! Love the first one- its cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly why I love your blog! I have been searching for this type of how-to for years. You really think about your readers and you are very thorough yet creative with the content. We also get a peek into your lifestyle:-) I like all of the outfits, however #4 is my daytime reality, but I will also wear something like #2 and #5 for evening. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
ReplyDeleteIm going to suprise my bf with black thigh highs under my skirt, and black knee boots! Yay, its V-Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat great Vday outfit ideas!
ReplyDeleteLoving the red dress with the thick black tights. New Jerseyian over here and its pretty chilly:)
Happy Vday.
