Girl I've spent so much time on your blog now... I am so glad I found it. I'm about to go to New York (I'm from Houston, TX) and I needed some good outfit ideas for this conference. You seriously have inspired me! Thanks!
Hi J...Thank goodness I found your blog!! I'm going to start working in a few months time and I was so worried about what is appropriate yet fashionable to wear to work. I'm in South Africa and rest assured i'll be an online shoppaholic...THANX
Your outfits have helped me create appropriate outfits for work. I work at a financial institution in Oregon and the dress code is very oldschool but you have helped me discover that I can be fashionable and still appropriately dressed within guidelines. Thank you so much for sharing your style tips.
Love your outfits! I really like your white pants, the brown belt, the mustard shorts... You look very cute and put together! Did you buy any of the animal print skirts you recently showed off?
This is great. I'm a student, but I just got a co-op job for the next 8 months, so far I've been trying my best with what to wear, this definitely helps. Though I'm super petite. Do you have any tips as to where to shop for petites? I'm looking for good skirts!
you are GORGEOUS! i have recently come across your blog from PBFingers and I think you may become my new blog that i look at.. every.. day! haha i love your outfits and how many different ways you style everything!
thank you for being so creative but sharing it with your readers too!
You have given me so much hope. I have been very ill for along time (on hospice, but recovered). I have not been shopping in so long that I didn't know what to look for. You have given me a lot of ideas!Where do you get your"FLARE" & "PIZZAZ"?Love your blog
Hey girl! Your blog is awesome! I just got it from pbfingers also, and I'm obsessed! I'm so bored with what is in my wardrobe so this has gotten me so excited to try new outfits! Where did you get your tan leather jacket at the top of the outfits page? I love it! Thanks for your blog, definitely going to be one I read every day!
I am sooo inspired by you . I have two kids and have gained a bit in the process but, this gives me hope. i love the high waisted looks. so suitable :) thanks girl . Keep up the good work .
You amaze me! I love how you are using your wardrobe to come up with so many cute outfits!! I only wish I could be this creative. Your website is one of my new favorites! You really are an inspiration.
You have the best style ever!! you look super classy but still cute, young and stylin'. There are a pair of shoes that you're wearing the look exactly like Stuart Weitzman's Gigi. I don't know if you know which one's i'm referring to but their blue! Where did you get them?? I've been dying for those Stuart Weitzman's but I can't afford them LOL
Thanks everyone! If you have questions on where I bought something or where to buy something similar please email me at jseverydayfashion.com, or write a comment on the main page of my blog because I can't respond to your questions directly here! Thanks! :-)
Wow! I love what you are doing! The way that you put up those fashion magazine shots and duplicate them in your own style is fabulous! You give great ideas on fashion, especially color blocking! I really enjoyed your blog!
I absolutely love your site..I use the internet to find unique combinations to mix and match pieces and I came across your site just surfing the web. I love mixing colors. You have given me some new fresh ideas to wear styles for work and to social events. Thanks a bunch:-)! Keep up the great work!
AMAZING!!! I love your website. I get inspirations based on your inspirations. I also enjoy mixing colors. I'm very into color blocking! Thank you for sharing.
I just discovered your site & I could spend hours here looking at all your outfits. Totally jealous of your wardrobe! After looking at several of your outfits, there are some staple pieces (red shoes!)that I am definitely adding to my closet.
I love this section of your blog! I am going shopping this weekend and definitely already made a list of some items I will be adding to my wardrobe thanks to your great ideas! Keep up the great work!!!
I love your white-on-white combinations. For me that and the different navy & nautical choices you use are my absolute favorites! Also the gray off-shoulder AE dress is a great pick, I could definitely see myself wearing something like it!
I like all the clothes, but with all respect I noticed all the outfits are copies of other people's style. We wish to see more your style than coping others all the time. On the other hand, it's good to see "re-creations" once in a while. regards !
To the last commenter: I think J's creativity lies in being able to interpret what one sees in a mag or photo and translate it into something work appropriate without running out to buy a whole new ensemble or spending our salary on designer goods. Not many of us know how to do that, and that's why u are reading this blog. I have seen many 'original' looks in other blogs and wondered if the bloggers have ever worked in a corporate environment. So, thank u J!
WOW! I had to apologize on pinterest for pinning so many of your FABULOUS outfits. It's funny...I think I have some similar pieces in my closet just didn't know how to wear them. THANKS for posting all of your outfits. PLEASE keep it up!!!!!
I love clothes and fashion so much that not even my post pregnancy bod can stop me from getting inspired to dress up. Looking at you and your style makes me really happy and inspired. You've done a great job of taking looks and style off the runway to real and everyday fashion for a regular woman like me.Keep on inspiring!
LOVE all of these looks! So helpful and inspirational. I will definitely be using your blog as a guide next time I need some inspiration with an outfit. New follower and I'm loving it!
Wow! I accidentally came across your site via Pinterest, and I cannot get enough of it!!! Your way of putting clothes together really helped me and gave me a better feeling about wearing color (since I'm more of a black/grey kinda girl)Thank you J!!!
I came across your site via Pinterest also! I love how you can take the magazine looks and make them your own and not so 'weird.' your looks are a lot better than the inspiration! thanks for helping us out and making fashion a little more accessible for us! Miranda
Im really glad I found your blog! I originally saw a picture of one of your outfits on pinterest. I really like that you post links to the websites where I can buy some of the same items you have!
J, you have really inspired me to be more creative with my wardrobe and shopping. Love your blog! Check out Charming Charlie for great accessories at a great price.
Couple questions - I notice you do a lot with the pencil skirt/sweater/belt combo. It works very well on you! 1) I would love some tips on belting, as I love the look, but don't feel like I do it that well - and the basic types/selection of belts you'd suggest keeping in your wardrobe would be great! 2) Any suggestions on where to purchase nice layering sweaters like you often wear? I need some that wear/hang well, but also hold up in the wash (I admit, I'm not big on dry cleaning!!) 3) I love your watch - it goes with everything! Please tell me where it's from and what the style name is, if you don't mind sharing!
I just found your blog on Pinterest. And can already see I will spend waaaaaay too much time on here. I'm already addicted. Your outfits are incredible! You look better in them then 90% of the models/celebrities! I'd kill for your legs!
Your blog is amazing- you are a beautiful girl with great style! I can't wait to see more looks and try a few out myself. Any tips for a girl in a smaller city, on a smaller budget than you've mentioned??
Ok first of all I want to say the combinations you put together are AMAZING!!!!!!! Second if I ever win the powerball I'm going to hire you as my personal stylist!! Keep it up, you have a great talent! Hope you make it big!!
Absolutely amazing what you have done here :) So sad that here in Germany, we don't have all the stores to get all this great stuff from. But i'll try my best! You are a great inspiration. Keep it up.
This fashion blog is a real first! Clothing that is both stylist and work appropriate! Most other blogs I have seen feature clothing that is only appropriate for walking down the streets of NYC or the runway.
I'm 39 and Have 3 kids, some what fit and everyone tells me I have nice legs. You've given me the confidence to wear short skirts and realize I dont look trampy, it just looks good when it's put together well and with accessories! Thanks! Great blog and awesome ideas! Eliana
J, I just turned 40 and have a 19 year old son. I used to dress sexy and was always in the mode. Now that I have time for myself again, Im learning about whats in and not. I stumbled upon your site via Pinterest, and I'm hooked. Im go shopping now with pictures i take from your site, and go from there. Its easy and convenient. Thank you so much for your fashion sense. It beats going shopping and coming home empty handed. Keep em coming.
I am so happy one of my friends pinned your page on Pinterest. I work in education and I definitely never want to look like a teacher lol. These outfits are spunky, fresh, and at the same time professional and I can't wait to try some of these out this upcoming school year.

I've been on Blogger for awhile, but you're the first one I've started following. It's amazing the outfits I have come up with just by looking through the things already in my own closet. It's all thanks to your ideas and suggestions on this blog.
Just discovered your website--Love, love, love! I find it especially ironic that an admitted "tomboy" can see a professional fashion pic and in my estimation, make those outfits BETTER and more wearable for us "non-models"! You are talented! Thank you, and blessings! :)
I love your blog. I too, found it via Pinterest. I am so inspired by it, I went straight to my closet and made up two new work outfits using an Express top that has been sitting in my closet, for at least 2 years! I really appreciate how you show the way different combinations can work together. Even when I don't think they 'match'. Again, a wonderful inspiration. Thank you.
I absolutely love all of your outfits, I didnt find a single one I didnt like, Love how you are not afraid of mixing and matching colors, and your accessories!, To die for! I love them all! You should be a stylist, and the way you matched the celebs....go you! Love it! Keep up the good work!
Absolutely amazing! You look better than the inspirations. I try to put outfits together and wind up more frustrated than anything else. You are good. I just recently moved to Florida from Pa and have no clue what to wear to work so that I don't melt on the way but it's very cold in my office. Any suggestions?
I found your website and fell in love! your fashion style is awesome!SOOOO glad I came across your site! and I love you post where to look for clothes!
Love the outfits! You also look better or just a good than most of the models/actresses. You have an amazing body and girls should see how a healthy fit woman looks beside an anorexic model/actress. You are adorable! Great site! Thank you! I started a new job and went from working outside to in an office setting and these outfit ideas are really helpful!
As an artist, I'd like to say that your outfits are great! You really know how to put things together. You must really love to show off your legs. Because you do so in most of your outfits. For the record, you've got GORGEOUS LEGS!
As a guy, I'd like to say that you look the best when you're wearing wearing outfit when pretty much all of you is covered except for your legs. Example: T-shirt with long sleeved jacket, high heels and short shorts.
Love all your outfits! Feel free to shop my online boutique where you will find trendy finds you are sure to love! 15% off Code: GLAMDEAL www.ALaGlamBoutique.com www.facebook.com/alaglamboutique
Wow. What a great wardrobe! I am most likely 20 lbs heavier than you and 20 years older but I am taking your ideas on putting not only outfits together but color. Fabulous. Timeless. Creative. Where did you buy those luggage color leather heels? I thought I saw the at BR. Unfortunately, BR heels are almost too narrow for my feet and really would love to have a pair similar to the ones you are wearing.....height and all.
I LOVE the inspiration pics and then your interpretation of the looks. This is what I do which my husband refers to as "playing dress up" (mind you, I'm 45!) You have a great sense of fashion!!!
J your fashion sense is amazing I love how you put your pieces together so effortless. Im following you on twiiter.
