Who knew Florida made such great wine? I spend the afternoon at Lakeridge Winery this weekend and learned they produced more than a million bottles last year and their wine is delicious. The weather, however, wasn't delicious as it had been chilly and raining all weekend. I wanted close-toe shoes to keep my tootsies dry, but thought jeans might be too hot, so a Coachella-inspired high low dress with an army jacket is what I settled on. What kinds of outfits do you wear when it is raining?

I normally am not a fan of rain (and what I have to wear for it), but since I just bought Hunter boots I am getting very excited to style them!

Loving the dress!
ReplyDeleteIf it is chilly- I like wearing rainboots with liners. I really like the black/white houndstooth patterns. It's neutral, yet stylish. Then just add in cozy liners that pop out the top in different colors. If it is warm- I like wearing flip flops and just splashing around in the puddles. :) Bring along dry shoes to change in to or something to dry your feet off with.
Great dress. I love my Hunter boots!!! Check out my blog for a stella & dot giveaway and join me this Thursday April 25 for my link up.

You're right, it's very Coachella! And I love it!
ReplyDeleteFor me, rainy days means stay indoors and read a book.. but if I must go out, then I'll go as Allison, rainboots and skinny jeans or shorts, depend on the weather!

I love your question, mainly because that is THE question I ask myself nearly a quarter of the year (perhaps a *slight* exaggeration). I tend to stick to closed-toed shoes, unless it's hot and gross. Rainy winter weather is easier - pants, a jacket, boots. But rainy summer weather is terribly annoying, usually shorts, a tee, and flat sandals. Boring, right? :)
ReplyDeleteI love that Dillard's dress - looks so summery, even if the weather doesn't.
