Somebody pinch me!!! My videos are now up on
Walmart.com!! You might remember that I traveled to San Francisco in February, where I met up with Walmart for a video shoot. I got to see all the adorable clothes in person, and shoot two videos about summer trends. I learned that Walmart's The Fitting Room is packed with fun clothes that you won't find in stores, such as Tina Knowles' "Miss Tina" line; see some of my personal favorites below. Then head to Walmart's The Fitting Room to shop and watch my videos! Go
HERE and
HERE. Hope you enjoy!!

ReplyDeleteIn and/or through today's post, your blog followers can see not only *beautiful clothes*, J.~~i.e., from Walmart's The Fitting Room~~but we can additionally see your............ (and also that of your lovely friend Marie Denee of The Curvy Fashionista)............ on-the-air professionalism and genuine *k.i.n.d.n.e.s.s.*............ TO............ the Walmart video shoots' Models and Production Crews. (For me personally this week, my fervent determination after the Boston tragedy has been----n.o.t. to lose sight of----any Beauty, or Kindness, or Hope out there, you know).
ReplyDeleteIn your 01:19 Walmart video, I particularly like how you commented, "Some people are afraid of white denim"............ (and in Marie Denee's 01:32 video for Walmart's Plus Moda Collection, she also commented, "Now, some of you guys may be a little scared of white")............ because observations like that, J. ............ simply "Keep It REAL" (fashion-wise) for all of us. Thank you for your great, down-to-earth videos and *C.O.N.G.R.A.T.U.L.A.T.I.O.N.S.* on your First-Time Video Ad For A National Company: I'm just so, *so* proud to............ be seeing that "small town girl from KS achieve
her dreams in a big way"!!
That is awesome! As a mom of three, I rely on Walmart as a one-stop shop and often pick up clothes for my family (or me, prior to my second-hand shopping challenge). I always felt a little hesitant to say that I get clothes from Walmart (which is silly but true). Your affiliation raises the profile!! You really do make fashion accessible for everyday women!

J - I am so happy for you and proud of you. I know there's always a smidge of luck/timing in every success story, but it is so obvious that your success is happening because you have a great message, you work VERY hard and your sincerity comes right through the camera lens. Good job, girl!
ReplyDeleteThat's HUGE! Congrats J! That purple dress looks great on you too.
