Today's Everyday Fashion: Olivia Palermo Style

How rude, Olivia Palermo showed up to the party wearing the same outfit as me! Kidding. I am just a nerd re-creating her outfit in my room using pieces I've had in my closet for ages. I love Olivia's look and realized quickly that my Gap t-shirt was a very close match to hers, and the rest of the outfit was a breeze from there. I was surprised how much I liked this outfit in person, so much so that I would totally wear it if I had a rad pool party to attend like she did. Would you wear Olivia's outfit?

  2. I have that t shirt. Gap had it on clearance for under $5, so I brought it home. I have enjoyed seeing the different ways you wear yours. It makes for good inspiration. :)

  7. Wow, I'm a HUGE fan of Olivia Palermo's style and you look just as stunning in that look as she does! I also think your blazer goes best with this look because it's fitted real nice. It's an amazing outfit overall and I would absolutely wear it. I'm a big fan of cute shorts and blazers anyway. :-) Love it!

  17. I have the perfect blue shoes... my WEDDING shoes! I haven't worn them for a year, since blue heels aren't really the most practical item.

  32. I am so sorry Wendy! :-( I hate that. I made my intern do the dirty work and choose the 15 women, so I'm not sure if I saw your entry. I know a lot of people's outfits looked similar and had the same inspiration photo so it was probably something along those lines!

  33. I like red-and-white & black together, but............ I just love  *g.l.o.w.i.n.g.*  (cobalt) blue-and-white & black together!!

I once wore (dyed-to-match-my-bridesmaid's-dress!) fuchsia satin heels in the Wedding of one of my paternal uncles;  and I remember that my fuchsia satin heels subsequently had a permanent water stain on them----(from it having rained that day, I think)----so, just as a thought, if someone  w.o.u.l.d.  actually wear satin heels to a pool party............ would you have to worry, J., about any swimmers............ i.e., behind you, between the white (gardenia?) blossoms (haha!!) floating on the water............ who might accidentally just............ *s.p.l.a.s.h.*  a little bit of chlorinated pool water ON............ your  (favorite blue!!) "shoes that Carrie Bradshaw wore in Sex and the City when Big proposed to her"............ (i.e., as one of your very astute Readers Nastia noted, Below)??
