Today's Everyday Fashion: Yellow Pumps

Yellow pumps: I bought them on a whim at TJ Maxx about a year ago, almost returned them and wondered if I was a little crazy for buying them in the first place. Fast forward and they are one of my favorite pairs of work shoes! Totally a staple and lately I've been seeing them everywhere. I love a pop of color in a shoe, and this spring I'm hoping to add more colors to my closet like Tiffany blue and these hot pink ones. Do you rock colorful shoes or stick to neutrals?

ps. This is a work outfit, so I just want to specify that I'm wearing a cami under my unbuttoned shirt. :-)

  7. I just bought these amazing cobalt blue Guess shoes with hot pink heels.  I'm not entirely sure how or where to wear them yet but I thought they would be fun to go with some of my more conservative work clothes!

  25. J, I voted for you.  When I shop I think about your tips.  Especially your pops of color; ie your belt with the blue and green colors. I'm plus size and I still try to apply your tips!  HOPE you win J!  PS-I think Kohl's is an under rated fashion go-to?

  35. I just bought a pair of yellow pumps last week! I thought about you and the shoes you are wearing in your post when I bought them. They had the pumps in nude as well, and I would have normally gone for the safe nude color, but decided to go for that pop of color and totally had some of your yellow pump outfits in mind. So fun for springtime too!

  44. Colorful shoes??!!    'Like puttin' a............ CHERRY on (top) of a sundae, except with colorful SHOES............ the "cherry top" (on the sundae) has been "flip-flopped" to be DOWN instead............ (and not UP, i.e., at the very top of an outfit either, haha)!!
