This is a fantastic color combination! You always come up with some great color combos. My favorite right now is berry and purple or dark green and purple. Happy Halloween! Heather

Oh! I totally bought two of those cardigans from Nordstrom! They are $21.90 rather than the $44 you have posted. Score!

ReplyDeleteJ I remember you saying you purchased a new flat iron not too long ago and loved it. What brand was it? It's time for me to get a new one because mine is acting up but I can't find the the post with it.
ReplyDeleteThis colorblock combo screams fall! Wine and dark purples are my fav fall hues, so my favorite piece of this outfit is your skirt. Love it!

Do you ever feel kind of SORRY for "maroon"?............ i.e., poor "maroon," (haha!!)............ because it seems that so many people only wear it with white/cream or with black/charcoal or with navy or with more maroon; and the *richness* of maroon's color somehow just never QUITE seems "to come out." However, (since maroon/wine/purple are a combination of red and blue), I just love how your shirt, cardigan, belt, and shoes all really *DRAW OUT* maroon's deep, rich color, J............ your outfit is so, so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteJoy, here's a link to my post that explains MJR Sales. It works like eBay - each listing is for ONE item and should include details on exactly the condition of that specific item, and you can zoom in really close and see the color and other details. Hope this helps! http://www.jseverydayfashion.com/2011/03/todays-everyday-fashion-my-new.html
ReplyDeleteRosanna, I had never thought about maroon that way, but I totally agree! It's such a great neutral that can be worn with lots of stuff, but it's usually worn with white or black. Can't wait to style this skirt with some other fun colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Happy Halloween to you too!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for an affordable mustard cardi for awhile, thanks for the links J!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteLove this colors together so much! Never would've thought, but it looks amazing. I love maroon for fall and winter too)
