Today's Everyday Fashion: The Soccer Fan
My day consisted of three parts: church, soccer game and a family BBQ. To find something that worked for all three I focused on the hardest occasion to dress for first. A sleeveless dress seemed like the best solution for the soccer game, since it was too warm for jeans and shorts aren't good for church. So I started there, then dressed up the dress for church with a cardigan and accessories!
Occasion: Church, soccer, BBQ
Cardigan: H&M, $18
Dress: Wish, won in a drawing on a blog
Belt: H&M, $20
Necklace: Forever 21, $8
Shoes: DSW/Chinese Laundry, $27

I would have never thought to pair these two colors together... but it looks great! Already putting an outfit together that is similar to this. Thanks, J!!

I like the idea of planning your outfit by first thinking of your most difficult to dress for occasion. The turquoise cardigan looks great with the turquoise pendant!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your style! Seriously, if I had the time and money right now to go shopping I'd go buy all the stuff you wear on here! (well, not all of it b/c thats a lot of money after a while lol, but you know what I mean :-p)
ReplyDeleteb.e.a.utiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are great! I think I would wear the dress if it was a little longer..those soccer bleachers can be difficult to navigate in something short. :0)
ReplyDeleteLauren, this dress is so weird. It's super-long in the back and front but high on the sides. My biggest problem was the wind! I had to tie my cardigan around my waist to keep my dress from blowing up! haha
ReplyDeletelove that dress! But I wouldn't say I consider it super long in the front at all!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I want that outfit.
ReplyDeleteI really like the combination of the blue and khaki

ReplyDeleteReally love your outfit and it's a great tip to accessorize the same outfit so you can enjoy a multi-activity day without having to change your outfit :)

I love this color combo together! Such a cute outfit, and I am SO jealous of your tan.
ReplyDeleteHey, love the outfit! Can you tell me where to get the dress exactly? I can't find it on the Wish website.
ReplyDeletelove everything but the shoes. our taste for flats are *way* different! you definitely rock the gladiator type sandals though.
ReplyDeleteBrandi, I won it in a drawing, so the company sent it to me directly. I have no idea if it was ever posted to their website, but I don't see it now?
ReplyDeleteMy feet are humongous so I have to be very careful/picky about flats!! Gladiator style helps break up the length of my foot.
ReplyDeleteSemantics. :-)
ReplyDeletethis looks so great on you! love the color combo :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colours! That dress would be a bit too short for me...I think I'd feel self-conscious, mainly because I don't wear dresses very often. But it's really a fantastic look!
ReplyDeleteim obsessed with this outfit, i will absolutely have to find this exact outfit sometime this spring/summer!!
ReplyDeleteRegardless, I just love that color combo. *sigh* Makes me think of spring!!!
ReplyDeleteyou looks so cute in this dress
ReplyDeleteYou chose very wisely for all your activities! beautiful!
