Today's Everyday Fashion: Color is My Favorite
"Mmmm, color." Some people really enjoy food. For me, colors are the most delicious thing in the whole world. I enjoy nothing more than creating new color combos like today's look! (Does this make me crazy?) Similar to my orange/yellow Olivia Palermo post last week, this combo works because all the colors come from the same "family." What are some of your favorite/unique color combos to wear?

ReplyDeleteu look very good!
Nice rendition of the inspiration photo. I love your skirt, boots and belt!
ReplyDeleteI love the oranges and earthtones you've been showing. I don't know why I don't have much in that color range. I'll look into that.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about loving colors. Sometimes they just run through my head and I can't wait to get home and try something new together. I love trying on clothes and changing combinations, that's why I love your blog so much.
I wear lots of browns and greens, chartreuse is a particular favorite. They are hard to find so I buy what I can when I see it. Why isn't brown available more?
I love this outfit. It reminds me of NYC. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving navy this year...more so than black. I wore a really pale yellow and purple cardigan with a navy skirt the other day and loved it. But you know, I'm not the fashion expert--was this good? :)
I love navy too! I think your outfit sounds really cute!!
ReplyDeleteI've always been more of a blue/green kind of girl but lately I'm loving this side of the color wheel! I have always preferred browns over black though, and I agree that they seem to be much harder to find for some reason. :-(
ReplyDeleteLOVE this outfit
ReplyDeleteI've been a blog lurker for awhile here and I have to comment today cause this outfit is my favorite so far, I have boots and a belt like that... now I just have to find a cute skirt and top! Thanks for the great outfit ideas! :)
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh, that skirt is adorable! You look so pretty! Great outfit post :)

Love. Love. Love this post! Fabulous job on coordinating these pieces! My favorite colors this season have been the deep and various shades of purples and plums, pairing them with winter white, grey, mustards, and even browns!

Great style!
ReplyDeleteHaha, even with the flat boots you are still standing on your toes like you are wearing heels. You must really adore heels girl, so cute!!
ReplyDeleteSomeone pointed that out the other day, SO funny! I totally do that when I'm wearing flats, I'm more comfy in heels. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to learn more about color wheel and you know how the whole color theory works and seasons we all fall into based on our complexion and hair/eye color etc... you just seem to be naturally talented at this so hopefully you write a post on this subject and teach us some tricks?
ReplyDeleteI love it. You look great. I saw a girl who look almost like you today at DSW. I had to take a double look.

That's a great idea Gracey, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI wore a similar mustardy-yellow shirt with a dark eggplant purple cardigan yesterday and the color combo made me sooooo happy. Color absolutely makes me beam!
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING in those colors. Love. I think I might have to try this combo. :)
