Fabulous Find





































Lace popped up as a huge trend for Fall 2010 and is still going strong! I've always loved Lauren Conrad's look (left), and have been craving a lace dress for spring so I had to give this dress a try. Only $34.50 from Charlotte Russe, I can't wait to for it to arrive so I can try it with a brown leather belt and shoes!

2/16 update: I just tried on the dress and it's way too short. :-( (I'm 5'7" and size 2 and ordered a S.) It fits beautifully otherwise, it's form-fitting like Lauren's look, but it's just way too short so it's going back!

    I'm in LOVE with LC's dress but there's just something about the CR dress that I don't like. And I can't pick it out.

    Hi J, Is the Charlotte Russe sizing same as Forever 21? Is it like junior sizing? I usually wear size 6 in dresses from BR, GAP. They only have size L in dress. Do you think it would fit? Thanks.

    Stephanie, LC's dress is really fitted and the CR dress is pretty boxy. I'm planning to belt it to see if we can't fix that! :-)

    I'm not quite as familiar with CR sizing as I am F21, but one huge difference is that CR offers a size XS in their clothing and F21 does not. So instead of going for a size M like I do at F21 (I'm a size 2 at Gap), I went for the size S. It's definitely a gamble ordering it online but shipping was free and you can return to the store. If you love the dress I say give it a shot!

    I saw this dress styled on The Today Show recently with brown tights, brown shoes and a brown sweater.........This could be the most versatile dress of Fall 2010 and Spring 2011!!

    I love this dress, I saw it after I placed my order and was so mad I missed it! I think it would look amazing with a green army jacket and some boots. You could also go girlie and wear some long necklaces or earrings and some fancy shoes!

    I ordered this and the color is A LOT darker then the picture just a heads up. I am a size 6/8 got the large fits great not too short. Def looks better quality in the pic!

    I agree that it's darker Kathy! It's also more crochet than I was thinking, and less like lace. It's pretty, just way too hoochie on me. :-)
