  4. J, I absolutely ADORE your blog. No question you have inspired me to be more creative with more wardrobe.... my friends and bf (but most especially me) thank you for a new found sense of style!

I was hoping to get your advice. Just ordered a great classic black coat on clearance. It looks terrific on, but it has shoulder pads. What are your thoughts on noticeable shoulder pads in coats/trenches/blazers?

Thanks so much Style Guru :-) I'll continue to tune in to your blog....

  6. Thank you so much Becca! I'm so glad you like the blog.

Personally, I'm a fan of shoulder pads. If you already have broad shoulders it can be hard to pull off, but I'm really petite on top so I like the extra volume it gives me. You mentioned that it "looks terrific on" so I say go for it! :-)

  7. 75 degrees? I am so jealous!
We are working with 15 degrees here in Michigan. :-(

  10. Elle, the watch is sold everywhere, but I think my family bought it at Macy's. Just Google the style# MK8077.

I SO love that everyone at your work is looking at the blog! Thank you! So glad you like it!

  11. I, too love love love that watch. I want that or something similar but can't afford to pay 200 bucks on a watch now, with a big and long trip coming to Europe, and all. Love all your cute little bangles too. I do that too: pile a bunch of cute, cheap bracelets and they look adorable, especially for a fun, casual yet girly look that is accessorized nicely. =)
