Today's Everyday Fashion: Copper and Magenta
































This is my third outfit inspired by an article from Refinery29.com on unique color combinations. (You can check out "green and cobalt blue" and "marigold and neutrals" if you'd like to see the other two.) This type of look is what I like to call a "Florida winter" look. It's winter colors and winter textures (the skirt is wool and the boots are suede) but it's short sleeves and bare legs so you don't sweat to death in the 80-degree weather we've been having. :-)

    I sort of loath the fact that you can wear that right now...its like 20 degrees in Chicago today, lol.

    But it love the colors, and I'm all about mixing unexpected shades together! :)

    I think this works because neither of the colors are too severe. It's not orange and red, which wouldn't look as great as this does! I personally like the black booties with it but I also think other colors might be a little less jarring. And like someone else said, I am jealous you can wear this right now! I wore Uggs in the snow today :(

    ugh! It's like 9 degrees here in St. Louis :( I love this look, I would have never thought to put the colors together, but am loving the color-blocking trend that has been hitting the runways. I'm thinking I need to buy more bold colors like this.

    The colors look pretty together! I would have paired this with some simple black flats or some leather pumps, my legs look awful in booties :-(

    I love this color combination. This is a cute and sassy outfit, chic too. I love those booties I am just not sure how well they go with this. I think neutral leather flats, cognac-colored flats and especially nude/neutral pumps would look great with this. I also think mustard would be great in this mixture of colors so next time try your mustard pointy pumps or your mustard cardigan with this and then you will be doing 3-color-blocking. ;-) Just an idea.

    Keep Doing what you do J. And all the negative comments out there, just don't pay attention to haters or "Negative Nancy's" that's what I say.
