Today's Everyday Fashion: Shopping Insanity

Make no mistake: I'm generally a calm shopper that takes my time. But today is the BEST shopping day of the year, so I plan on tearing through every store in the mall. If you see a girl flipping through the sale rack in a navy and cream tunic, it's probably me! :-) I'll be sharing my finds via Twitter as I go, and I'll post pictures when I get home. The hunt begins!

Occasion: Day-after-Christmas shopping
Tunic: Forever 21, $18
Belt: American Eagle/Filene's Basement, $5
Jeans: American Eagle, $33
Boots: Aldo, $75
Purse: Neiman Marcus Last Call/Juicy Couture, $115
Watch: Fossil

  3. Hey,

I've been reading your blog for a while and am wondering if you could fit a reader request in this week? I know you've done what to wear to a winter wedding and some other themes where you were giving examples of outfit options. I have a black leather pencil skirt to wear on new years and have no idea where to go from there. If you can help me out I would forever be grateful!!

  7. You look super cute for your shopping day. I, too, shopped 'til we dropped (with my mom!). We had so much fun - and lots of good deals, as well. Can't wait for New Years Eve to wear something fancy I got today- sparkles for the hair! Thanks for sharing!

  10. Thanks everyone! The mall was totally empty for the first few hours of shopping - most people showed up around 10 or 11am.

Colleen, I don't own a black leather pencil skirt so I won't be able to do a dedicated blog post, but I think for new year's you should pair it with a sparkly metallic shirt if you have one! Top it off with a jewel-toned cardigan or a black blazer, black tights and boots!
