Today's Everyday Fashion: Purple Prints

I'm normally not a prints girl, but lately I'm so drawn to them! Today, I show you two looks with my latest find at T.J. Maxx (I won a $500 gift card there recently, totally unrelated to the blog). I just couldn't resist the colorful pattern of this shirt, especially since it goes perfectly with this purple cardigan!

  6. I really like both looks! Possibly the khaki version best! Both shoes are great and I feel like staples for every closet.

  9. Thanks everyone!!

    Shelley, the tag says Agora.

Katelyn, I've seen challenges like that before and I honestly just can't get behind them. I really want to make getting dressed a more positive experience and the idea of only having 30 items makes me so nervous!! It's like packing for a month-long trip, and I HATE packing. I of course totally support the idea of not shopping for a month and focusing on what's already your closet, but I think that choosing 15 items that you never wear and them making yourself wear them that month would be a lot more productive (and less stressful!). :-)

  13. J can you do a feature on what to wear to holiday work parties? I am always over analyzing if it's ok to be all dolled up or not.

  14. Anonymous, I recently posted 4 looks for winter weddings. I would totally rock any of those 4 to a holiday work party. Of course, it depends on the party and where it is held. My husband's company does this huge thing with a DJ and whatnot, but if you're just hanging around the office I would go with rich holiday fabrics (sequins, velvet, lace) in an office appropriate look - pencil skirt, cardigan, tights.
