Fabulous Finds: Champagne Splendor

Sequin skirt, $32.50

I have two words for you: holiday collections. This is absolutely my favorite time of year for shopping and this collection from Charlotte Russe (titled "Champagne Splendor") is just one reason why. I don't usually shop much at Charlotte Russe, but I am overwhelmed with the great offerings from this collection! I tried on a few of these in the store, so check out my reviews below each picture.

Lace blazer, $39.50
I bought this jacket. It's so not a practical purchase, but it is gorgeous in person and I just couldn't resist. It runs really small though - I'm a size 0 in shirts and bought a M.

One-shoulder shirt, $24.50
I looooove this shirt and the ruffle detail is amazing in person, but the XS was huge on me. WAY too much material. Broke my heart, but I decided to pass.

Lace shirt, $22.50
This shirt is a great price, and it's even better in person. Still deciding whether I'm going to get this one! (the XS fit perfect)

Feather dress, $38.15 (on promo)

Which one is your favorite?

  2. Thank you for posting this! I have only shopped at this store twice but I will make a run to check out that gold skirt!

I actually have a holiday outfit question for you! I am going to my boyfriends work Christmas party in December and am going through my closet trying to figure out what to wear. It's at a country club and I am in Michigan so it will be freezing! I have a few options in mind but I am not sold on anything yet. Any tips?

While I am tempted to purchase a new item, I know I have a lot I could work with and save the money instead.

  4. The lace jacket and lace shirt are really great. The jacket looks like it would be a nice weight for warmer FL temps. The shirt would look great with skinny jeans and a retro flat.

  5. I'm partial to the feather dress. So many ways you can wear this one........pair it with black and pearls and it would look very Chanel.

  9. Thanks everyone!

Katelyn, last week I posted four looks for winter weddings. I have actually worn 2 of those looks to my husband's office parties in D.C. in freezing cold February. I bring a sweater wrap or faux fur to cover up during the event, and top everything off with a wool coat when I'm outside. You could also add tights for some extra warmth!
