Obsessed is officially the word for these mustard jeans. I wear them constantly.... maybe even too much! It's simply the color that I'm nuts for - I love that they go with anything from a chambray shirt, to bright colors, and both black and brown. The first outfit is based loosely on my inspiration photo (same combo of green top + orange necklace + yellow bottom) and the second outfit I wore last week for a day of visiting a friend's new baby and errands galore. What item(s) are a part of your constant rotation?

I am completely obsessed with mustard this season. I have jeans and a cardigan in the color and I love how they have become a new staple for me. Nice switch from black or brown.
ReplyDeleteLove how the color goes so well with everything. Maybe I need to look for a pair for my closet, too :)
ReplyDeleteI think I need a pair too now! I love it with the blues!

I have some mustard jeans and haven't really found a good way to wear them for the season so this post is perfect! I love both outfits.

I would say they have a slightly more orange/brown tint than the shopping options pictured - but all of those are listed as "mustard" on their respective websites. On the Kohl's website my jeans are "Tumeric" but that's not a widely known color and to me they are just plain mustard. ;-)
ReplyDeletea quick google of "tumeric" and those pants are definitely accurately named! i'd never heard of that plant before
ReplyDeleteMustard yellow is my current obsession as well. When you featured this pair on your blog, that was the final piece needed to add to my mustard yellow collection. As much as I shop at Kohl's I never even saw these! I love them paired with the green sweater and orange necklace. Heather
ReplyDeleteI have mustard cords from Loft and love them. Where them weekly and I get tons of compliments on them. I love that color is in!!!
ReplyDeleteyou can get these jeans at kohls right now for a STEAL. they are on clearance with an extra 25% off!! GREAT BUY!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the mustard jeans... I have had my eye on a pair but haven't picked them up yet... pretty sure they'd get a lot of use if I picked them up! They look great on you.
ReplyDeleteThey are really pretty! I'm not sure I'm bold enough to wear that color though haha.

I love the mustard color wearing it's in a top or on a pant. So cute.

I love both your outfits here, particularly the second one, i.e., because of your pretty black-and-white medallion-print top!! In addition to the black background for your medallion print top, wouldn't a *deep* purple............ a *deep* burgundy............ a *deep* navy blue............ or a *deep* pine green background, for your medallion print top............ (i.e., plus the existing white design)............ also (maybe??!!) look pretty with your mustard jeans, too!!
ReplyDeleteIt's like you read my mind! I've been searching sites all day today looking for mustard jeans! Thank you for posting some places I can get them! I live in Canada and choices can be limited. I look forward to reading your blog every day!
ReplyDeleteLove love LOVE those jeans, this post and mustard anything (including, er, mustard!). I even re-named my 'banana' Fryes Mustard, making them instantly even more awesome! Will be referring to this for more styling inspiration for my yellow (like a traditional French's!) jeans!

I totally blame you for my mustard obsession!
ReplyDeleteI just ordered the jeans at Kohl.com. The best news is that they are on SALE for $17! They also come in a Teal color and white (also both on sale). Use code NOVFRIENDS for an additional 20% off. Came to less than $21 shipped.
ReplyDeleteThey've got a great pair at Target too!
ReplyDeleteGreat jeans! Love the first look! :)

I really love the mustard jeans on you - so versatile. I would have to say my dark blue skinny jeans is part of my constant rotation - case and point where I wore them thrice in a seven-day period: http://coverupchic.blogspot.ca/2012/11/casual-fall-attire-raisin-creme-and.html, http://coverupchic.blogspot.ca/2012/11/casual-fall-attire-cardis-wrong-way.html, and http://coverupchic.blogspot.ca/2012/11/casual-fall-attire-leopard-and-stripes.html

J, I was never much of a bright color wearing, but I am sooo on the mustard train now, thanks to you! I picked up those same tumeric jeans from Kohl's (previous commenters were right, they are mega-cheap on sale!), and I've also got a mustard blouse from Loft. I can't get enough of mustard!
ReplyDeleteI'm so inspired by all the color you have on your blog, I just want to re-work my wardrobe entirely as I transition into wearing more "grown-up" styles! ahhhhhh
