Today's Everyday Fashion: Retro Colors

I wore this outfit to my niece's birthday dinner a couple weekends ago. It wasn't until I got home that I realized this Pinterest photo subconsciously inspired me to put this look together!  I love the turquoise + orange-red + mustard color combo; it reminds me of a 50's diner. To winterize this outfit I would switch to orange-red skinny corduroys and add a camel blazer. Would you wear these retro colors?

  2. I love the colors but I look awful in the mustard. So I'm going to have to put the orange on top and try to find something in the mustard for the bottom. Turquoise is a no brainer. I think everyone has it. I just wish I had a waist so I could wear a belt like you do.

  9. Jessica, I believe I got that shirt in July. They are sold out of the mustard color online, but you could try the store. They may also have the same shirt in a long-sleeve version for fall!

  14. This is such a Bright & Cheer  --*y*............Florida Citrus  --*y*............Outfit, (maybe with a little Turquoise-Blue Sky in the mix)!!    Although the colors remind me of a '50's diner, too, (haha!!), the way you've STYLED this particular color combo is simply SO pretty, modern, and fresh!!

You know, J., I'm used to buying *delicious* oranges;  grapefruit;  and tangerines that are Florida-grown;  but (now that I think of it), I'm not familiar~~a.n.y.m.o.r.e., that is~~with buying lemons and limes grown in Florida.    When I looked this up online, this is a little tidbit of information I found, which I thought I'd just share here:

Looking forward to more winter suggestions.
