Unique items are my absolute favorite, but I wondered at first if this green python shirt was too whacky, even for me. I got it over the summer, and am surprised at how much I like it with all-black for a Saturday night ensemble. It's looking rock-n-roll in today's post, and I'm curious to see what other items wind up working with this trendy print. Would you ever rock green snake print?

Love this...and those shoes? TO DIE FOR!!!!
ReplyDeleteI say go for it! Not too whacky, just fun! I love it when people wear things that are a little edgy!

I don't think this is too edgy for you at all!
ReplyDeleteI love this look! I'm not sure if I would wear it to teach in -- wait, no, I would -- but I would definitely wear it when I go out with my girlfriends for dinner/drinks! Is the top Moda or Famous Catalog?
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! the color is great! You look hot, girl!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!! I would definitely wear green snake print :)

It looks great on you! And I hope mjrsales opens up again SOON! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! Moda is actually a brand that is sold by Famous Catalog (Victoria's Secret)! I wasn't sure about this until I ordered my leather jacket from VictoriasSecret.com and the brand was Moda when it arrived. What I'm not clear about, however, is whether VS actually makes Moda, or just sells the brand. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI like your outfit better than the example outfit. Love the shoes.
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you put this together!

When I read the title of the post, Green Python, I didn't think it would be for me. But I love how you styled it. I would even wear to work with black pants or skirt. I like your blouse, but also like #2, I'll be shopping for this look. As usual on your blog, I am glad I read past the title!
ReplyDeleteWow! You look AMAZING. Love everything about your ensemble. And those shoes...
ReplyDeleteI would wear a green snake print. I think if one thinks of a snake print as a type of abstract print, it makes it more approachable to wear. And emerald and forest greens are the colour of the season.

Although it's probably just the lighting, your green snake-print shirt almost looks like it's............ a deep teal (greenish-blue) color............ and with the rest of your Outfit being all-black............ the effect is somewhat like that of STAINED GLASS............ i.e., just a genuinely "g.l.o.w.i.n.g." Outfit look, J.!!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, I thought you were wearing a Lace-Trimmed Black Camisole under your shirt............ (which would also be really *pretty*, too!!)............ but I didn't see a Camisole IN your Price List, at which point I then realized that "the black" in your lower neckline area was............ the (blackened mixed steel) *FRINGE* on the tassels............ of your Lillith Fringe Necklace!!
Your Stella & Dot necklace seems to "sub" very nicely for a Camisole here............ and because your snake-print shirt is directly "bookended"~~up at the top~~by the BLACKENED plated-brass *chain* and the *fringe* of your necklace............ and~~down at the bottom~~by your BLACK jeans............ well, those two directly-adjacent BLACK "bookends" really frame your snake-print shirt; and make it *P.*O.*P.!!*, too............ (i.e., MUCH more than if you h.a.d.n.'t. worn a necklace; OR if you had worn a necklace that didn't have a.n.y. black in it, at all)!!
I love this, especially with the shoes! It's edgy and just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTres cute. Love it, love it, love it!
