Today's Everyday Fashion: Dressed Up Casual

Today's look started with a desire to wear this necklace and these shorts together. Camel plus cobalt is one of my favorite color pairings, so I grabbed my favorite J.Crew camp shirt (bought for a steal during the-day-after-Christmas sales two years ago) and some brown accessories to complete the look. This kind of dressed-up casual is what I turn to for running errands and meeting up with friends.  How do you do dressed-up casual?

  7. You have totally inspired me! Today I wore a sleeveless back popover from Old Navy with a white pencil skirt from LOFT and super high heels to church with chunky African bangles and a military inspired belt. Then I got home, changed the shoes to nude sandals, the skirt to rolled up khakis and went out with hubby and dog. I never could have pulled off the transition if I hadn't been reading your blog for six months. I hope you know how talented and wonderful you are! You have enabled me to look at all my clothes and all my purchases in a different light. You're a lovely woman, J and someone should give you a TV show ASAP. I'd get cable for you :-)
