Today's Everyday Fashion: Team Player

Leopard print is the ultimate team player - it works well with both the black and brown tones in your closet. The first time I wore this skirt, I paired it with electric blue and black (see here). This time, I stuck to rich brown, mustard and green. That is definitely the kind of versatility I was hoping to get out of this skirt, and what makes leopard so appealing in my opinion! Do you prefer to pair leopard with black or brown tones?

Love it both ways.  I agree, sometimes I consider Leopard a neutral.

  9. What a fun look!  I wear leopard with black for a more formal look, and brown when I'm wanting to tone it down.

  13. I love the flexibility of leopard print. Some times I pair it up with brown, some times black. I can't believe I've never thought of teal, orange, blue, or any other color with it!

BTW - Your MJR influence has worn off on me. I just placed my first order.

  14. Love this look and the shoes.

Thanks to this blog, I am wearing things out of my usual comfort zone. Today I have on a lilac blouse, grey pencil skirt and a lime green skinny belt. Also bought a purple pencil skirt and 2 more colored skinny belts. I love the way you add color to your outfits with the belts.

Thanks Jen for being an inspiration.

  16. I love leopard print for the same reasons you listed. I have some leopard print flats and a belt and I wear them with everything like they are neutrals.
Black or brown? BOTH. I actually think leopard is a great way to wear black and brown at the same time. :)

I love the orange with this outfit! My post today addresses animal prints too. I paired mine with red and i thought it made the red more brown tone.

  20. LOVE! Those colors are great with that skirt! What MK watch do you wear; is it the RUNWAY watch?

  21. J, if someone usually wears a size 6, could they wear the medium size in the skirt you have on here? The sizing is a little different than I'm used to. Great look--I love aqua with animal.

  22. I like to pair leopard with tan tones with black accents not as much with darker browns.

  23. Thanks Susie! It's the same watch I link to - the MK8077, technically a men's watch!

  24. That is a tough call, this store definitely runs small. I wear a size 2 on the bottom, and I'm wearing the size M in this skirt - and I believe they only sell S and M at that store. The skirt is really stretchy, so it has some give, I'm just not sure if it would fit exactly the same as how I'm wearing it. I hope this helps! :-)
