Today's Everyday Fashion: Saturday Night

This is what I wore last night. It was rockstar meets girlie, with spikes on my necklace and bracelet, and studs on my hot pink shoes. The weather was rainy again, so I wore my hair natural (wavy) with a little touch-up. I took a small curling iron to it to add some curl, and loved the result, even though it only looked this good for about an hour before falling flat (typical!).  I usually stick to long sleeves and shorts for "going out" outfits, or a fun tank top and jeans like this outfit - what do you usually wear for a night out?

Love the hot pink shoes!  I've actually being looking for a pair that are similar to the Aldo's but more expensive.  Might have to get the Aldo's now!  Thanks for sharing!

  12. I am so scared of colored jeans and envious at people pulling them off! I am inspired, really want to try this look.

  17.  Your hair (no kidding!) looks like The Locks Of A *Princess*, J.~~~just soooo pretty!!

In your post of April 7, 2012, "Today's Everyday Fashion: Silver and Gold"............
http://www.jseverydayfashion.com/2012/04/todays-everyday-fashion-silver-and-gold.html ............ I *really liked* how you paired your hot pink skirt with your gold sequin top;  and I also *really like* how you paired your pink jeans with your tan/gold-sequins tank top here, too!!    (I noticed that KOHL'S website not only has your tank top in tan/gold-sequins On Sale;  but also the exact-same design in gray/silver-sequins On Sale, too!!)

Incidentally, when I first looked at your outfit here, I thought, "Oh, that's a Scandinavian-hip/very on-trend 'ECO-STYLE' design of a tan tree anchored in tan soil............ against 'A Sky Of Gold Sequins'!!"    With my growing up in a flat, essentially treeless part of the U.S., I now just *love* trees;  so I could also even see myself............ (as totally-silly and crazy as this may sound!!)............ maybe wearing my gold "leaf" earrings;  and attempting to somehow pair your tan/gold-sequins tank top with............ somethin' in some shade~~or another~~of  *G.*R.*E.*E.*N.*, too!!    (THEN, when you're having a night out, I wonder just how long it would TAKE for a nice, ecologically- aware/minded man to kinda "notice"............ a real Nature-Loving/Eco-Style/Sexy Outfit............ very thoughtfully put together like that??!!  Haha!!)

I had to run out and get this top this evening.  Managed to find the last one...and it happened to be in my size...and for $8!  SCORE!!!  Love your website.  As a stay-at-home-mom, I want to look cute, but without spending a fortune and you make it possible.  Hands down my favorite site...look forward to your post every. single. day.    :)

Could you pair this top with the lilac or red pants pants Kohl's?  I don't have pink pants.  And if so, what would you do for shoes?   Planning my outfit for girls' night tonight to see Magic Mike.  :)

  24. I would totally wear that for a night out! I love the sparkles!

  25. Stephanie, yes I think that could work. A lilac or a soft red with some neutral (nude) shoes, or something metallic like gold or mixed metal flat sandals would work!

  26. you should try a curling wand!!! i have (about) the same type hair as you.. (thick, natural waves, hates to curl with irons) but i got a basic conair curing wand and my curls were still in tact the next morning with a little bit of light hold hair spray!
