Today's Everyday Fashion: Mint Condition

The color "mint" could not be more popular right now, which rocks because it's always been a personal favorite of mine! I dig mixing different shades of the color - such as this shirt and necklace I've had for a couple years, and my new turquoise shoes. Paired with yellow and camel, this is definitely a winning color combination in my book! Are you crazy for the mint trend? Would you wear this color combo?

  2. I am obsessed with mint right now - if I see something in this color, I have to hold myself back from buying it!  I love the shades you paired it with here and will definitely try it out!

  3. Green is my favorite, but I'm not a fan of pastels in any shade because they wash me out.  So I'm sticking with grass greens this spring and missing out on the mint trend.

  4. I'm loving grass greens too - especially a bright turquoise, kelly or emerald green!

  5. Hi J,  You made my day with this one...I just bought this skirt yesterday and have a mint blouse from an outfit you styled last Spring...now I know what I'm wearing to work tomorrow!!  Just wish I could pull off those shoes...I'll have to go with my camel pumps ;)  Have a great day!  I'm cheering for your win in the Lauren Conrad challenge!!!

  9. All of those are great colors!  I could probably do mint if I kept it on my lower half - like shoes or a pair of skinny jeans.  That's usually how I choose to wear colors that I love but aren't flattering for my skin tone.

  21. I'm loving the mint trend!  I'm trying to not get too crazy with it, as I want to still like the items I purchased next year.  The skirt you're wearing in the photo is like one I recently purchased in mint!

  22. Megan, almost all of my bathing suits are from H&M and Victoria's Secret. My suits from Old Navy and Gap haven't held up as well, so I mostly stick to H&M and VS!

  24. I have that exact skirt from J.Crew, but originally it comes with pleats in the front, right?  Did you just iron them out?  I've tried that but can't ever get it completely flat like the front of your skirt.

  25. Kelly, no it must be a different skirt. I've had mine for about 2 years, but I've noticed they usually have similar (but slightly different) ones in stock.
