Today's Everyday Fashion: Print Mixing

If you look closely, you can see ivory polka dots on my skirt - meaning I'm rocking not two, but three different prints in this outfit! I love this look inspired by Jenna Lyons and think it's right on-trend with the print mixing we are seeing everywhere and just somehow "works." I would definitely wear this to a fashion event, or even to nice brunch. What is your print limit? Would you rock three at one time?

  4. Love your outfit.  Not digging the inspiration photo though.  I just can't get into mixing grey and brown.  Every time I see it, it turns me off.  Oh no...  maybe that means I'm getting old.....

  7. How do you feel about wearing a dark leopard print in the spring and/or summer?

  8. Denise, these shoes are actually a bit lighter than they appear in the photo, but I will definitely be wearing them this spring/summer!

  9. Your take on the inspiration photo is nice.   I'd probably put my print limit at 2 and wear nude shoes with this outfit, but you're definitely pulling off the three print look!

  10. I agree with Erin about the heels. I'd go with nude because theres already so much going on.

  13. Love, love, love this outfit! I really like the boldness of the leopard and the red, contrasting with the demure skirt. I think 2 prints at a time is my limit, so I'd probably pair this with a neutral shoe.

  14. I'm a HUGE fan of mixing prints...I think 3 is probably the max before you start looking like you got dressed in the dark. I think the yellow clutch is my favorite part of this outfit...it's adorable!

  15. I'm not sure I have a print limit. I'm not super savvy with print mixing yet, but I'm getting better all the time!

  16. I am obsessed with animal print trenches! The one from Chico's is my favorite and the cuff looks fabulous! And what a great cause you are participating in! Thank you for your support!

  17. I like this combination. I'm a big fan of both polka dots and leopard print. I think my limit is 2 prints at a time. Like others said, I'd probably pair the print skirt and trench with a solid color pump. (I agree with kim, I like your outfit better than the inspiration.)

  18. I love this! I would totally wear three prints at once, if they blended nicely the way yours do here.

  21. I'm really not liking the inspiration look, but I love what you've done with it to make it your own. I am especially in love with that skirt - I have been looking for one like that, except longer for the longest time and just can't find the right one. Anyway, I do love what you've done with this look. Great job! - Jessica.
