Today's Everyday Fashion: Last Bits of Winter

I am a true procrastinator. Because nothing motivates me more than a looming deadline! With spring right around the corner, I put together a bunch of cold-weather looks for my readers up north that I'll be posting over the next week or so. I absolutely love this one. I originally purchased this dress as a summer dress (see it here), so it's great to see how versatile it can be, and that it looks just as good with tights and red blazer for a chilly night out! (Also, please excuse the little wrinkle in my hemline. I am in serious need of a steamer and will be purchasing one asap like a good little blogger.) Are you still rocking winter fashion, or is spring in full bloom in your closet?

  2. ...spring  in full bloom?"  It's actual temperature 20 degrees right now but w/windchill (feel's like) temp of 7 degrees, it will be a long time until spring shows up!  Loving the cool weather outfits!!!

  3. I'm craving Spring weather, but I love, love, love this look! We've had a few days in the 70's lately, but who knows how many cooler days we'll have to enjoy some last minute cool weather ensembles.

  4. This is amazing!  That red blazer is the perfect shade of red too!  Do they still have it on MJR?
I love Victoria Secret clothes, but they are so expensive!!!

  5. I can't wait to transition to spring weather, but winter keeps popping its nasty head back in! But I'm sure you know how finicky Kansas weather can be! Thursday it was 70, Friday it snowed (briefly). Unlike people around me, I dress for the (predicted) weather around me. Even if that means I'm wearing a grey sweater and black pants one day and a cobalt skirt and pink blouse the next!

  6. Pip, MJR is unpredictable - I would definitely look to see if they have it, but they usually only get a handful of any specific piece so might be hard to find! I've got my fingers crossed for ya ;-)

  7. Yay! I'm so glad someone can get some good use out of this and my other cold weather outfits coming up! It's 90 degrees in Orlando today. Already feels like summer! (boo)

  8. I certainly do know finicky Kansas weather! :-) I love that you dress for the weather, that is a great strategy in my book!

  9. Thank you for thinking of us northern gals. We won't see spring weather til April. Can't wait for the tulips and cherry blossom trees to start blooming. Until then, it's still boot and coats for us.

  13. Yep, they definitely don't have it anymore!  LOL!  Oh well... I like the website, but not a fan of much of the stuff they have on there.  I definitely will check back though to see if they get any good finds up my alley.  :)

  14. Thanks for thinking of us northerners. It was a mild winter so here's hoping we get to jump into spring! But we still have chilly mornings and windy days so these outfits will provide great inspiration to get us through the awkward winter-spring hump. Cheers!

  19. I love this look! It kind of reminds me of something Zooey Deschenel would wear! I love how you combined the red belt with the red blazer too-- so cute!
