Today's Everyday Fashion: Snake Bitten

I've been bitten by the love for snake print. I inherited this shirt from a friend this summer and loved it so much that I picked up another one at the LOFT recently (about a month ago). I'm also totally smitten with the inspiration photo. Her use of snake print among other brown neutrals looks great and I decided to give it a try for a cold-weather look while I'm in Kansas. Have you hopped on board the snake print trend yet?

Also - did you guys find anything good in the sales yesterday? I walked away mostly empty-handed, but picked up this shirt for $20 and this skirt for $35 from Ann Taylor! (score!)

  2. No good sales yesterday. I was kind of disappointed.  Snakeskin is an awesome print. Just like leopard, I consider it a neutral.  Heather

  5. Also disappointed with the sales...nothing seemed to catch my eye.  It was pretty much the same old, same old.

  8. Very cute!  I ended up getting some good deals at Gap which was having 50% off sale (which seemed like most of the store) but not much else!

  12. I just discovered this blog! It's very very helpful. I've been looking for brown boots and really like yours. Do you mind to reveal how tall are you? I am 5'5" and do not want them to go up to my knee. Thank you!

    Great outfits!

  13. I went shopping yesterday, too. I bought I motorcycle-inspired-down winter jacket from the Gap for only $24! I'm trying to save my money, so I was very reserved in the spending department. :-/ J, it looks like you might have used only your new sassy boots during your whole trip home! That will certainly lighten up the suitcase!! :)

  18. Hi! I love this look! I have the same shirt. I have been looking for this color skirt for a while. I noticed you are able to coordinate it with lots of shirts. Any suggestions where I could find one?

  22. That's a great question! I would say "brown" or maybe a "taupey brown" (that's not even a word but not sure what else to call it!).
