Today's Everyday Fashion: Emerald Green
I'm completely gaga for the color emerald right now! Last week I snapped this picture on the way out the door to a somewhat formal business meeting. I came up with this outfit the old-fashioned way -- I knew I wanted to wear the shirt and necklace together, so I held up different cardigans and skirts until I found a combo that worked. I've always been a huge fan of this Tory Burch ensemble, however, and it reminds me of this look so I thought I'd include it in today's post! Are you loving the emerald green trend right now?

ReplyDeleteI came across this Kate Spade outfit and you popped into my mind! http://www.katespade.com/designer-clothing/womens-tops-and-sweaters/kate-spade-gifting-ellis-cardigan/NJMU1470,default,pd.html?dwvar_NJMU1470_color=001&start=101&cgid=sale
I love jewel tones! I steer towards purple and magenta myself, but the emerald looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteLove the emerald and royal blue together. The color pairing is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteliking this interpretation! great statement necklace and colors.
ReplyDeleteOhh I love the emerald color too! As a brunette with pale skin, I'm all about the jewel tones and emerald is one of my faves!! I love the combo with the cobalt blue too! I have a pair of cobalt skinnies and I think I'll have to try an emerald top like the forever 21 one with them!
ReplyDeleteSuper-cute, thank you Allie!
ReplyDeletelove your color scheme!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit, except not crazy about the necklace. I think it's because the emerald green, blue, and then the yellow pumps already introduce three colors into the mix, and the turquoise necklace just seems like a bit much more to add. Other than that, awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favorite outfit EVER
ReplyDeleteyou are darling! Love that color! it's so lovely

One can never go wrong with green. Nice! That necklace, however looks like it's from Jcrew (unless h&m copied). They only have that necklace in red and black now, but have had other colors in the past. http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/jewelry/necklaces/PRDOVR~92687/92687.jsp

The really vivid, *vibrant* colors in your outfit remind me of these Blue & Green Aurora Borealis colors, (i.e., The Northern Lights!!), in this link, directly Below............ and your cardigan's striking, *electric-blue satin* Button Placket also resembles............ the blue Aurora Borealis *S.T.R.E.A.K.*............ right across this Anchorage, Alaska, night sky, too!!:
