Today's Everyday Fashion: Double Leopard
My love for leopard just keeps growing. (It's a borderline obsession at this point!) I recently added another piece to my wardrobe, this super-affordable cardigan from MJR Sales. I am wearing it today to church and keeping the rest of my outfit pretty simple. I am doubling up on the leopard though - by wearing a leopard belt with my leopard cardigan! Have you ever worn two different leopard prints in the same outfit?

Jeans: Hudson via Filene's Basement, $70
Belt: Urban Outfitters, $20
Shoes: Restricted via Endless, $40

I have quite an obsession with animal print too. Love the double leopard! By adding the skinny belt with the cardigan, its not too over the top. What a deal on the cardigan too!
ReplyDeleteLove the leopard! Is the MJR sales one the same one that is $17.33? And is it the same as the VS one you link to? It looks so different - thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love your blog! Just stumbled on it yesterday through a link from another fashion blog. Your blog is going to change the way that I dress and I am so grateful. We have a lot of the same pieces in our wardrobe and so your photos are going to be incredibly helpful to me - I know how to buy what I like but just not how to put it together. I wore your neon outfit yesterday: I picked up a chartreuse green sweater at Target and paired it with the denim shirt and jeans that I already had - wow! So thank you, thank you, thank you. I have such a hard time dressing because I am a 51 year old college student who can't look too young but also does not want to look like a grandmother - your outfits help me straddle that line. I hope you continue to share your amazing fashion sense for a long time. PS Love the double leopard, I have a belt very similar, have been looking for a cardigan for awhile, now I know how to wear it once I find it.
ReplyDeletereally like the double leapord look
ReplyDeletesadly i only have 1 item with leapord, need to get more
brett
Amy, it is the same cardigan in both places! It looks like the MJR Sales one is already sold-out this morning, but the VS link is the same cardigan, just without the MJR Sales price. ;-)
ReplyDeleteDeb, thank you so much for your sweet note! So glad you are finding my posts useful. Welcome to the blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the look. I think the cardigan and shirt dresses up the jeans. I think I would have picked a different shoe. Its something about that shade of brown that looks odd with the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! If you look closely, the shoe color matches the brown in the leopard belt. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI too love leopard prints, I love this cardigan on you. It looks great and its a little different type of leopard print so it looks refreshing. Love your outfits - as always!

thank goodness for this post! i've been searching everywhere for the perfect leopard cardi!
ReplyDeleteOh, this outfit is soooo pretty and *stylish*!! Your softly-ruffled blouse has a Victorian or Edwardian "vibe," while your leopard cardigan and leopard belt are "right now"............ i.e., Victorian England MEETS----the 21st Century!!
ReplyDelete*With* your (Above) white blouse and leopard pieces, a "right now" matte satin skirt or leather pencil skirt; plus some feminine, Victorian-style LACE-UP boots or heels, along with some simple, Victorian-style FILIGREE or LACY earrings, necklace, and/or bracelet(s)............ might also be another way for Victorian England *t.o.* meet the 21st Century, too............ (i.e., although I have absolutely NO idea, J, whether or not this would work)!!
Hey J love your style! could you tell me what size cardi you are wearing? ive only ever worn skirts by VS so im uncrtain of the fitting - give me some details please.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the hunt for a leopard cardigan. I love the one you have from Victoria's Secret, but sadly they don't carry anything in my size. So the search continues.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing a size S in this cardigan. They definitely run small - it looks and fits like an XS in person!
ReplyDeleteOhh your leopard cardi looks so cute!! I have a shirt just like that but need the cardigan too! I think that Express one looks perfect! I'm not at all a fan of animal prints, but my LOFT leopard print shirt found it's way into my constant rotation! I now think of it like a neutral!
ReplyDeleteLOVING this look! I have a ton of leopard, but I need a skinny leopard belt ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI just got the cardigan:)) Thanks,J!! I was just checking the MJRSales, saw the cardigan and bought it through your link.
ReplyDeleteYay! That website is a bit like a treasure hunt, so I'm glad you were able to find one!
