Flashback Friday: Red Pumps

I professed my love to red shoes in this recent post, so I thought it would be fun to take a look back at all the looks I've done with them so far! Black and white is an easy combo with red, but I also love throwing in mustard, cobalt and even purple for good measure. I usually stick with a red belt, but I've also done black and even brown. I think red shoes can make an outfit, and like a red fire extinguisher you should always have them in case of emergency! Will you be wearing red shoes this fall?

Red pump options
1. Moda Spana via DSW, $49.99
2. 2 Lips via DSW, $49.95
3. Urban Outfitters pumps, $39
4. Mossimo via Target, $29.99

  1. I love every one of these outfits!  I especially like the one where you paired the purple pencil skirt with the red pumps.  A great color contrast :)

Yes, every girl shoud have a pair of red pumps in her wardrobe.  It's one investment everyone should make because they can take the simpliest outfit and really step it up!  So, red pumps are definitely in my fall wardrobe!

I also found a pair of berry colored pumps that have been added as an alternative to my red pumps which are just as much fun and a little unexpected too!

  6. I have the red shoes from Urban Outfitters and I love them!  I pair them with a lot of different colors and styles.  I think the lower cone shaped heel is so on trend for fall.

  13. I love the red pumps with the white jeans. They really pop! I don't have any red shoes, but maybe I should get some. Your examples prove that they really do go with everything.

  14. You look absolutely fab in all your pics, but I think my favorite would have to be the outfit in the middle of the 2nd row.  I love the animal print scarf; I agree with you about the mustard and red really complimenting each other! =D I have yet to still find the perfect pair of red pumps! I like all your suggestions though...

  15. I have a favorite pair of Corso Como "Delicious" pumps in red patent leather.  LOVE THEM!  I love them so much that I have not worn them... always "saving them for something special".  All your looks showed me I need to take them out of the box, put them on my feet and strut my style!

  17. Hey J, I had a question for you! I was wondering how you post your images so they come up as a compilation - whenever I post images, they will only be displayed one after another, not next to each other?  Do you use a specific program?  Is it possible to do it via "preview" or iphoto?

    Thanks so much!

  18. I am a disciple of the red shoe. I wore two different pairs of red heels for my wedding! (One pair for the ceremony and photos, and another shorter pair for dancing!)

  23. I absolutely love how you styled red pumps with white jeans and black/white on top (last pic on right/top row and center pic/bottom row). Just got red open-toe kitten heels and wasn't sure how to dress them down... problem solved!!!  :)
