Today's Everyday Fashion: Kim Kardashian
I know a lot of you really like Kim Kardashian's style and it's easy to see why. She always looks very put together and unlike some celebs who are a bit much with their style (Lady Gaga, Rhianna), the Kardashians have very accessible style. Most of their stuff is easy to re-create, such as this look today. I absolutely loved the combination of Kim's red skirt, blush pink shirt and utility belt and so I had to give it a try using items from my own closet! Tell me - who are your favorite celebrity style icons? What celeb closet would you want to raid?

Kim Kardashian is by far one of my all time favorite fashion icons!
ReplyDeleteGreat job.... Kim style is simply FAB!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute look! My celebrity closet that I would want to raid would be Reese Witherspoon's. She has a very classic style but always makes it look so comfy and easy.

i really like the version you put together. i quite like jessica alba's wardrobe for everyday style.
ReplyDeleteCute! And you look even better than Kim there! I love your outfit even more.
ReplyDeleteI love this look. It really is simple and easy to re-create.
ReplyDeleteGreat look! I like that pop of color! The Kardashian girls DO have a great look, all neutral colors that can easily be rotated around to form new outfits. Lately my celebrity crush is Gywneth Paltrow. She uses lots of classic lines, with a bit of hardware or detail on her shoes, accessories, and purses.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the Kardashians have a very accessible style- I love their use of color!! My favorite celeb style is probably Lauren Conrad. She always looks effortless and beautiful and has mastered the art of being sexy without showing too much!
ReplyDeleteI really like Gwen Stefani's sense of style. She can be out there sometimes ... particularly when she's doing a concert. But she beats to her own drum, for sure. And she's a great designer, to boot.
ReplyDeleteJ! I love this outfit!!!! Esp that skirt and heels!!! <3
ReplyDeleteI love this skirt, wish it wasn't sold out at Forever21. Great look for less!!

ReplyDeleteGood one Cathy, I also love Lauren Conrad's style!
ReplyDeleteLindsey, I agree, I love Gwyneth Paltrow's style!
ReplyDeleteI love the pleat-y ruffles on that top! :)

Great job with this re-creation of Kim's look! I'm currently loving the trend of wearing mostly neutrals with a bright pop of color. : )
ReplyDeleteI agree, the Kardashians do have styles that we could easily adapt into our everyday wear. My fave celebrity style icons are Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson, for opposite reasons. SJP's style is classic and sophisticated (but with a bit of quirky--or am I mistaking her for Carrie Bradshaw?!) and Hudson's is boho, effortless and laid-back.

i am loving yours more than Kims!!

Yep I love the Kardashians style!
ReplyDeleteLove that top! Almost bought it in a different color at our JCrew Outlet here. I'd say I love Rachel Bilson's style bc she adds a flair of vintage to her looks and she pulls of classy very well.
ReplyDeleteVan, my icons are similar! I love SJP and Jennifer Anniston. Jennifer is classic, and SJP is adventurous, and I like to meet somewhere in the middle! :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I were smaller, I would love to raid Halle Berry's closet. She is one of the most put-together, and beautiful, women ever, IMO.
ReplyDeleteVictoria Bekham, as she's gotten older. Since she's come out with her line, her style has been classic and always impeccable. I think people are put off by her size and her not being too smiley, but on clothes alone she's definitely up there.
