Today's Everyday Fashion: Home Again






































I'm completely exhausted. I had a blast in Kansas doing both personal and business stuff, and now it feels great to be home! This was my outfit for the plane ride(s). Totally comfy, totally chic and perfect for the 90 degree weather on both ends of my flight! What is your ideal plane attire?

Occasion: Flying home
Shirt: Nordstrom Rack, $10

Belt: H&M, $20
Shoes: Chinese Laundry/DSW, $27
Necklace: c/o Stella & Dot
Watch: Michael Kors, family gift
Bracelets: Forever 21, $8

    Cute outfit! I'm too scared to wear white jeans on a plane. I usually roll with dark colors.

    Despite what temp it is, I have to wear jeans on the plane. My legs just get so cold!!! and a little sweater is a must :)

    Zoey, I totally feel the same way! I wish I could wear a dress but I prefer to have my legs covered up on a flight!

    Brett, I forgot to bring a sweater and thought I was going to be miserable. It wound up being sweltering hot on the plane though. I think something was wrong with a/c so this was one time I didn't need one! *whew*

    I love the colors in this shirt, its so pretty but bold!  My mom is a flight attendant so when I was growing up I had to dress up and wear pantyhose on the airplane, horrible, they always ran after 1 flight.  So, now I get torn between dressing nice and rebelling and wearing sweat pants, haha.  Love your blog!!

    Love the shoes. I always have to pack a sweater if I'm flying because the planes are always soo cold!

    Anna, I've been wondering if platforms will go out of style anytime soon, but I don't think that they will, especially with the resurgence of flare jeans, which look great with platforms. The studs make them more likely that you could get sick of them sooner, but if you love-love them then I say go for it! They are super cute.

    I love these sandals!  Do you know where I can find a similar pair?  I've been looking at the Sam Edelman Gigi but they're kind of plain and a bit pricey for not being real leather...

    You have also given me the goal of wearing white jeans by the end of summer!
