Today's Everyday Fashion: That's So Anthropologie
My first thought after creating this look was "that is so Anthropologie!" And then it occurred to me that the inspiration photo is from Anthrolopologie, so I guess, mission accomplished then? (The blond might be highlights, but I assure you that the ditziness is real, people).
Styling tips: This look is "bright around the edges." The base is really neutral - khaki bottoms, ivory top - with tons of color added in the rest of the pieces. What basics do you have at home that could be turned into a colorful outfit with a few bright accessories?
Occasion: Work
Inspiration photo: Anthropologie
Cardigan: H&M, $18
Shirt: Forever 21, $22
Necklace: Forever 21, $8 (recent)
Belt: American Eagle, $15
Pants: Banana Republic, $14
Shoes: Bandolino/TJ Maxx, $25

ReplyDeleteI like your version better than the inspiration photo. Just a fresh and clean look with a color combo that is not done often but looks great.

i love these inspiration outfit posts! keep it coming! =)
ReplyDeleteI love the yellow and turquoise together. Such a great color combo!
ReplyDeleteI notice you where heels a lot. I live in Boston and walk and take the T everywhere! When you lived here did you ever take flats in your bag to change into when you arrived at your destination? I could walk for hours in wedges but heels? Not so much. If we're driving, I'll wear sky-high heels... but if we walk to dinner it's either wedges or flats for this girl. :-)
Briana, I'm not a huge fan of public transportation so I drove pretty much everywhere when I lived in Boston. I was in the North End for a year without a car, but I worked in Government Center so I would just walk the few blocks in my heels. :-) After that I worked in Brighton so I always drove! I can definitely walk a lonnnng time in heels though. An amusement park is pretty much the only time my shoes have to be flat! :-)
ReplyDeletethis is one of my favorite combos you have done. love the turquoise and mustard yellow.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! I love the turquoise and yellow with neutrals! Beautiful as always!
