Today's Everyday Fashion

Two questions:
- Should I keep these boots from Forever 21? (I talked about them in this post.)
- Are my shirt/pants too monochromatic?

  1. Love the boots! As for the shirt/pants, I think they are a bit too monochromatic. It might be the lighting on my monitor, but the colors are so similar that it looks like it is a one piece bodysuit. Really cute look, though! Olivia is always such a good source of inspiration. :)

I like the outfit, but the picture is a little bit too dark.
I check your blog everyday, and I love it. Thank you.

  3. Very cute outfit! I do, however, think it's a little bit too monochromatic. Personally, I think a coral colored shirt or a black shirt would look great with those pants! <3

  4. I love the boots with those pants, however, I would wear a different kind of jacket style.

  5. I LOVE those boots. Are they comfortable?

  6. I think it may need a large belt to break up the top from the bottom?

  7. I love the boots, but if you're having doubts you might want to exchange them for something else?

I like the monochromatic look because the top and pants have different textures from what I can see. A cream or light khaki colored silky cami might work with it too; the pants are a little more tough so something soft might contrast with them well :-).

  9. I love the boots and I LOVE the jacket! For the shirt/pants, it might a look a little monochromatic, it all depends on if you like it that way! At first glance, it did look like it was a one-piece, but its still really cute!

  10. Not a fan of the boots. The shirt is ok but I agree it may look better with a coral color

  12. Uh...ditch the boots. And add an animal print shirt? Just a thought.
    Still, you do look darling.

  13. I like the boots. Very cute.

The shirt and pants look pretty much the same colour. It could just be the picture. But i think it would look better if the shirt were a lighter hue or a different colour altogether.

  14. The whole thing is great! Don't change a thing - monochromatic is excellent, especially when you can go out of the box to a different color other than black to achieve it. The boots are keepers.

  15. you look great in colors, but the statement necklace makes this outfit. theo boots are not my fave but they go well with your outfit.

  16. I recently discovered your blog and I love it! I'm very curious about all your shoes. Can you walk in them for an extended period of time? Are they comfortable? Is the quality great? I'm afraid to order online at websites like urbanorg.com because the prices are so low I can't believe the shoes would be comfortable.

About your post, I'm not a big fan of boots that look very wide on the ankle but it's just my opinion. Also, I like the green on green but different shades would look even better.

Keep on the good wok and thanks for sharing your looks everyday!

  17. I forgot something!
Have you ever bought shoes on endless.com and zappos.com? Both sites are aswesome as shipping is free and you have 365 days to return your purchases (unworn) if you don't like them.
I'm not affiliated, just obsessed with shoes and addicted to these sites. :)

  18. I love the boots! I do think the pants and shirt are a little too monocromatic, but I'm also a girl who loves color(and probably takes it a little too far haha), so I may be the wrong person to ask!

  19. For some reason, I'm not a fan of the boots. I know the foldover is very popular now, but I think that coupled with the slouchy effect is what's throwing it off for me. However, you do look great as always!
