Styling Challenge
Day #3 of my styling challenge. I was recently asked to do a little project - style 5 different statement necklaces into two looks: one for work (left), and one for weekend (right) - and wanted to share the results with you guys! This third necklace is a mix of ribbons, pearls and chains. Definitely a statement piece on its own so I paired it with very simple outfits! How would you wear it?
Disclaimer: These are my regular 'ole clothes, but I do not own the necklace.

Very pretty necklace and outfits. I looove the weekend one!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth are really cute. Can't remember the shoes on the left. How long ago were they purchsed. I love them. You named designer. What about the style name?
ReplyDeleteDpas, I bought those shoes in Boston probably 3 years ago. They didn't come with a box (or at least I don't have it anymore) so not sure of the style name, sorry!
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is beautiful!! And I love the way that you are wearing it for both outfits.
ReplyDeleteIt just stinks that it is so expensive! I would love to have that in my collection, but not for $178. :(
I am enjoying both outfits! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits! I can definitely see myself wearing both :)
ReplyDeletei like the short skirt and short sleeve shirt look. i really just like how you made the necklace office ready and cocktail with friends ready.
ReplyDeletealso, crazy. i went to my first stella and dot party friday night and i ended up getting the child version of this necklace. it was cheaper and i liked that it was shorter. you wear this necklace much better than the model in the catalog. maybe if i would have seen these pictures i would have ended up with this one!
Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteJenn, a direct quote from the Stella & Dot stylist who asked me to do these photos: "don't spend the money:) Host your own Stella & Dot trunk show and get this necklace or another for free! I can give you all the details." Email me for her info JsEverydayFashion@gmail.com
Amanda, that is too funny! I used to buy clothes at Abercrombie kids all the time for the same reason. I think I would perfer this necklace a little shorter, so be confident that you made the right choice! :-)
Love the transition! Very practical. Check out my blog at http://superstarsaver.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteMy partner and I really enjoyed reading this blog post, I was just itching to know do you trade featured posts? I am always trying to find someone to make trades with and merely thought I would ask.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristin!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, feel free to email me at jseverydayfashion@gmail.com with any questions. Not at all sure what you mean by trading featured posts.
These Stella & Dot necklaces are all amazing and you wore yours so well. Love your mixing and matching. These must be my most fave 2 looks however. Simplicity yet full of sex appeal (both times). After all one can't go wrong with a white top and blak skirt. =)
