  3. How in the world do you get the sleeves on the inside cardigan to lay properly over the outside cardi. ???? Whenever I layer sleeves, the inside ones are always crooked and bunchy!!!!! Gah!

  10. I'm not always a fan of fall clothing (simply because I don't want to let go of summer!!), but I absolutely LOVE this outfit. I think it's wonderful that you're doing a week's worth of BR clothes in preparation of their upcoming sale. Even though I'm up in Illinois and won't be able to hit your local BR store, the store manager of my BR store needs to personally thank you for the upcoming sale they'll be getting from me!

  13. By the way, is the pumpkin colored cardigan the "rust" color that I see on the website?

  14. Thanks everyone!! This is one of my favorite looks I created, another good one coming up on Sunday...

Anonymous, The sleeves seemed to work out on their own with this look, but one trick here is that I bunched the cardigan up a little in the back, so it was tight in the front! :-)

Shanna, please tell your store about me!! :-) I have lots of fans in BR stores and am hoping to get more to attract the attention of BR corporate! And yes, the cardigan color is "rust."

Mrs. Classic, please feel free to link!

Anonymous, would love to have you fly down for the event from IL, lol! :-)

  15. I really love this look! I am a jeans girl so I love finding ways to dress up jeans. I love how the ruffle is layered with the cardigan. I will DEFINATELY be using this idea come fall!

  17. I love this look!! I can't imagine wearing 3 tops, but you make it look so light and effortless. I love how the leopard works with that beautiful rust color!

I just started reading your blog, but something that would be interesting to see you do is how to transition work outfits into fun night outfits when you are short on time and can’t go home and change. I often run into this problem since I live far away from work and it would be cool to see how you would face that situation!

  19. Love this look, especially the subtle animal print accent. I think it would be great with a pencil skirt for work as well. Your looks have been so helpful and inspirational when putting together my work outfits.
