I love love love your blog. I recently visited the urbanog.com cite and was wondering if the shoes ran pretty true to size? Should I get a half size up to be on the safe side?
Jazz, with Urbanog, it totally depends on the brand. Different brands seems to have very different sizing so let me know which shoes you are looking at and I'll see if I can help! You can email me at JsEverydayFashion@gmail.com.
You do not look too confident in this photo. I admire your work in finding similar alternatives and making it you "own." However, for me(and maybe even yourself), fashion is about wearing clothes that make me feel confident.
Overall, I like the look. However, one of the following alterations could have dramtically improved it:
1: You could have removed the neckpiece and button-down; and wore your hair up.
2: You could have chosen to stick with the original look which included Navy-blue shorts.
She is recreating looks with items she already has or has recently purchased. If your telling her to stick with the original look by wearing blue shorts then why do you tell her to remove the necklace and button down?
Anonymous 2, thank you for sticking up for me. :-)
Anonymous 1, I totally agree that confidence is the key to any outfit, however, you are reading my face wrong because this one of my favorite outfits of all time. Also, please feel free to imagine this outfit with navy blue shorts, but the reality of everyday life is that I need work-appropriate outfits 5 days of week, therefore shorts won't cut it.
