I couldn't agree more with your comment. I think the look is cute, and I'd wear it. However, I would still rather wear a pretty dress. Perhaps this look would be more accessable as a summer work outfit rather than a formal occassion.
I do like the look, but not on everyone. I think one has to be pretty skinny and have gorgeous toned legs for this look. This would be proper and fun (plus different) for a cocktail party or a fun evening or a dressy dinner as opposed to a lovely dress. It looks great on you as it does on all these 3 actresses: Amanda, Gwyneth and Kate, love it best on Amanda. The looks is hot on you, I love your dressy black shorts and the tuxedo blazer. This look would be silly on me, however.
