In honor of Independence Day tomorrow, I decided to take a look back at some patriotic moments over the past two years. I love wearing red, white and blue, and no matter how you are celebrating, there are plenty of outfit ideas here to get you started (although, the bottom outfits were intended to be tongue-in-cheek!). I will likely start my day at the pool in my most patriotic swim suit pictured below, and end it watching fireworks in my new Gap blue and white Ikat tank (see it here) and some red shorts. Which look is your favorite, and what are you wearing on July 4th?
1. Urban Outfitters tank, $29
2. Forever 21 tank, $12.80
3. Ralph Lauren bikini, $120
4. Piperlime tank, $49
5. Arden B tunic, $17
6. Forever 21 shirt, $17.80
7. Urban Outfitters skirt, $9.99
8. Topshop flag shorts, $68
9. Old Navy skirt, $17.50
My favorite outfit is the blue/white striped shirt with the white shorts and red belt. It looks so fresh!

It's so hard to pick, I really like all of these! I love that they're all patriotic in their own way, but none of them are over the top, so you could wear them on any day of the summer! I especially love the white shorts + striped top combo and the tie-dyed top!
ReplyDeleteHave a great 4th! My favorite is the navy and white striped shirt with the red skirt! That look is so great! xx

My favorite is number 3 the white shorts and striped shirt. I am going to be outdoors tomorrow in the Florida heat so I think I will try and see what is in my closet to come close to your look.
ReplyDeleteI love the red strapless with the white shorts, its a nice casual look that will be comfortable in the heat! Although the blue heels are a little over the top. I think I would pair it with your Guess wedges :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. The blue heels were a bit of a joke. I would wear that look with flat shoes though. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy outfit tomorrow looks a lot like your first look! Navy/white striped skirt, simple tank and my favorite red patent pumps from Chinese Laundry.
ReplyDeleteAll these looks are fantastic, and I'm absolutely in love with the tulip skirt up top! Hope you have a great one!
ReplyDeletereally love that stripe tank you're wearing over your bikini! although I am in scotland AND scottish, not american, I do love a stripe so I might just dress for you guys tomorrow! have a great holiday.x

ReplyDeleteI love the tie-dye racerback tank.
ReplyDeletePennys, that shirt is navy and white and I bought it at H&M about 3-4 months ago.
ReplyDeleteThe wedges are the Steve Madden Riddgge. I got them from MJR Sales for a steal!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your blue and white swimsuit cover up! Where did you find it?
ReplyDeleteThanks Brandy! I got it at TJ Maxx a couple summers ago. I'm planning to sell it in my next closet sale (I have way too many cover-ups) so keep an eye out! :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteSweet goodness, where did you get that Bruce Springsteen tank??
ReplyDeleteIt's from H&M about 4 months ago! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the sandals in the picture where you are wearing white jeans and the colorful tank. Where are they from?? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey are the Chinese Laundry Shanae. They are more than 3 years old though, so might be tough to find. I replaced them this summer with the Nine West Victory.
ReplyDeleteHello, the short red /orange skirt you're wearing with the nautical top, where is it from? Thank you, really drawn to this look, would love to replicate it on my own, thanks.
ReplyDeleteSuzan, that skirt is from LOFT but it is probably long gone by now. Banana has an almost identical one online right now though!
