Today's Everyday Fashion: Guest Post

Hats are everywhere this summer. As someone who has more bad hair days than not, I rejoice in this trend! When I saw this image of Jessica Alba at the airport, I immediately thought about re-creating the look with my new hat I picked up in the men's section at Nordstrom Rack. Paired with a casual scarf, this look is ready to brace the air conditioned interiors of airports, restaurants and malls without looking out of season. Are you wearing hats this summer?

    i feel like with my short hair a hat looks really odd on me...manish!  i might just have to give it a try and see what people say.  now, the real reason for my comment...where is that fab purse from??  i am in love with it, but you didn't list it in your post.

    Totally loving hats (I have so many bad hair days too), they're so perfect with a messy ponytail, which is my bad hair day solution.  And I love your recretaion of Jessica Alba's casual chic look!  Great guest post Marion! :)

    Thanks Tanya!  And I am honestly a newer hat convert :)  I would just advise that you try on a ton of different hats to see what looks best with your face shape, hair, and coloring.  I think of hats a lot like sunglasses...You won't know if it looks good until you try it on! :)
