This is a guest post while J is away. Everyone please give Lauren a warm welcome!
With the start of August comes many things: the beginning of summer’s end (tear), a new school year and, most importantly, the excitement and thrill that football season is almost upon us! Living in the South where football reigns king, you can find me at work on any given Monday or Friday proudly wearing my alma mater’s colors (go Seminoles!) either in celebration of a weekend victory or in anticipation of an upcoming game. With NFL pre-season games beginning in just a couple of weeks and college football kicking off in about a month, I thought that now would be the perfect time to demonstrate a couple of ways you can show your team spirit at the office while still maintaining a look that is professional and work-appropriate. I decided to use a few color combinations that are representative of both NFL and college teams. You can go bold by contrasting both colors on your top and bottom, or you can take the subtle route by using your team’s primary color in your accessories (outfit one). Several of these looks incorporate layers, so you can easily transition them from work to a happy hour by simply shedding the cardigan and/or swapping out the purse with a smaller clutch. How do you show your team spirit at work?

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Cindie! Orange and blue is a tougher combo to pull off, but I definitely think it can be done, especially if you incorporate a neutral in your top or bottom piece (white, khaki, etc) and/or use one of the main colors as an accent via your accessories, such as a necklace, scarf or purse. Thanks again for commenting!

ReplyDeleteVillas-Boas wants to shut out Inter
ReplyDeleteAgen Bola indo11.com reported, Andre Villas-Boas has challenged his
Tottenham Hotspur side to keep a clean sheet against Inter Milan in the Europa
League on Thursday.
The north London outfit head into the match
on the back of a string of impressive results – most recently a 2-1 derby
victory over local rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
And Villas-Boas wants his players to stop the
“biggest team” left in the competition from scoring in the round-of-16 first
leg at White Hart Lane.
“It’s a big game and an important week for
the club, we’ve had some big games and we want to continue doing well,”
Villas-Boas told reporters.
“We will treat it as seriously as we have
done before. We probably face the biggest team involved in the last 16.
“They are rebuilding their squad. They have
invested in young players and are a club in change. But they’re involved in
three competitions. The Europa League means a lot to them as it does to us.
“Inter are very experienced in Europe, we
need to be aware of their strengths & they will need to be aware of ours, as
reported by Indo Eleven.
“We don’t want to concede, we want to avoid
that and take an advantage to Milan. We want to be as good as we have been.
Villas-Boas said his players are relishing
the chance to test their skills against the Serie
A giants, and confirmed
midfielder Mousa Dembele will be fit to feature.
“The match comes at a good time for us. It
shows the importance of the competition,” he said.
“The players are buzzing to be involved, it’s
a great match to be involved in.
“Mousa is okay, Ade (Emmanuel Adebayor) is in
with a chance too. The rest is the same.”

Namun The Special One punya pandangan berbeda.
"Saya tak melihat apapun dari diri saya dalam Andre Villas-Boas. (Namun)
ia sudah mengakses tempat-tempat yang tak bisa diraih orang lain. Saya memantau
karirnya secara teratur," ucapnya.
"Saya tahu ada efek Jose Mourinho dalam diri pemuda Portugal. Saat ini ada
banyak orang muda yang bermimpi jadi pelatih. Dua puluh tahun lalu para pemuda
ingin menjadi pemain, bukan pelatih." jelasnya.
