Monochromatic looks are always welcome in my book, so why not use the St. Patty's Day holiday as an excuse to try it? You'll notice that in each version I kept one item neutral - in the first it's nude pumps, in the second the necklace is more neutral, although I think a plain gold pendant would look even better. Try using the green you have in your closet to come up with something fun this year! What green items do you plan to wear?

So cute! Wish I had some green jeans to wear. Love it with the mint!
ReplyDeleteLovely! thanks for the idea! I have green jeans and a mint skirt and never thought to put them together. Dur!
ReplyDeleteThose jeans are fun - I love the emerald colour! I am boring tend tend to pair emerald with grey and pops of fuchsia.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for St. Patricks day tomorrow! I think I'll wear a green cardi. I wish I had green jeans, I would definitely wear those if I did!

Blargh! I was just on a hunt for more green things in my wardrobe and now I MUST have that green top from jcp! More things to add to my cart, I guess.

I like the nude shoes best! But I prefer the 2nd necklace - it's very pretty! The green and mint are a very cute pairing. :) I know everyone and their mothers have those bubble or bauble necklaces, but I think they're so tacky. Although it is probably just b/c they're so overdone.
ReplyDeleteLove this color combo.

I love these St. Patty's day looks! I think I like the first one with nude pumps the best. I did similar colors but I switched them, I did light on bottom and darker green on top. I love you look though!

Love the first look! Kelly green and aqua look great together, and the top, necklace, and clutch are all in the same hue, so the look feels more cohesive than the second, in my opinion.

I love this outfit - the last shoes with the first necklace ;-) I don't think I own one piece of green clothing! Weird, I might have to go shopping...

I usually forget to wear green, then tell people that there's green on my underwear but they can't see because it would be unladylike for me to show them. Thanks for the reminder - I better find some green to wear!
ReplyDeleteI love both versions of your monochromatic green outfit............ *Happy St. Patrick's Day* to you; and also to your family and friends, too, J.!!
ReplyDeleteThis is for you............ and for all your Readers/Commentors here!!:
A TRADITIONAL IRISH BLESSING
Warm be the love that surrounds you,

Useful the work that you do --
Close be your family around you,
Good health be yours day by day,
Long be the life that you're living,
And full of much joy on the way!
I would vote for the nude shoes version. I like both necklaces though! I went out for a bit last night and wore a mint greens scarf (I was also wearing non-green items as I was cheering for my basketball team!)
