I didn't plan ahead on outfit posts (sorry guys), so instead I'm sharing some pictures from St. Augustine yesterday! I was there shooting a VISIT FLORIDA video, and wound up wearing this turquoise top from yesterday's giveaway post (the only item that I kept). I'm also sharing three Daytime morning show segments I shot in December, see below. It was my first-ever time using a teleprompter and we did the segments in just one take to save time, so I was hoping they would come out okay. I talk about the polka dot trend, three ways to wear a blazer, and winter trends. Hope you enjoy! :-)
Shirt: Collide Boutique c/o
Jeans: Gap, $30 (similar)
Belt: H&M, $20
Shoes: Chinese Laundry c/o
Sunglasses: Banana Republic, old
Purse: Karen Millen, gift (similar, similar)
Earrings: My Stella & Dot, $49
Rings: My Stella & Dot 1, 2, 3Bracelets: Banana Republic, My Stella & Dot 1, 2

Great job on the segments! You seem a little nervous in the first one, but the other 2 were much more natural.

ReplyDeleteSee, this IS everyday fashion! It's what you wore in a real, everyday situation. More of this please!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Jealous you're able to wear white jeans already, it's still snowing here! Also, because of your blog I am doing a much better job at setting a budget and buying clothes on my wishlist; not just what's on sale! Thanks for the tips :)

ReplyDeleteSide note: has anyone else been pronouncing peplum wrong? I had no idea that it wasn't pronounced pEEplum. Haha. :)
That was one take? Impressive!
ReplyDeleteLove those fringed wedges! One of my favorite Chinese Laundry wedges.
ReplyDeleteHow cute are you on TV?! You did awesome, and teleprompters are tough. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI love St. Augustine! I'll be visiting in April and can't wait!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the video clips. Wish you were on TV all the time - you need your own show!
ReplyDeleteGreat styling! I like the scarf on the outside of the lapels - That way it won't hide your necklace!

I loved your segment on Daytime!
ReplyDeletethis outfit is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteJ! It's time for you own show! You did great!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I just realized how it was pronounced a few months ago, while watching Gossip Girl! Hahaha
ReplyDeleteYour #3 TV segments are just so informative; and you're also so relaxed and poised in front of the camera, too, J.!!
ReplyDeleteI love your turquoise-blue blouse~~with deep navy blue (?) embroidery detail............ turquoise is a *particularly pretty* color on you!! Also, when wearing a camisole (or tee) to "fill-in" a deep-V neckline; and/or underneath a sheer top, it seems to "elongate the line"----i.e., makes you look taller, as a dressy, strapless, straight-leg jumpsuit would!!----when the camisole/tee is the SAME color as your jeans or pants!! Your WHITE camisole (or tee)~~along with your WHITE jeans~~give "the illusion" of your being taller!! ('Hope this makes sense!!)
I love your outfit, even if it was not meant to be an outfit post. Also you are such a natural in front of the camera.
ReplyDeleteI thought that looked like St Augustine! I will be there in 8 days!
ReplyDeleteJ, those shoes are too cute! Can you put me on the right track to finding a pair?
ReplyDeleteShannon, the shoes are the Chinese Laundry Undercover. I've had them for a couple years though and couldn't find any online anymore! :-(
ReplyDeleteHope you had fun! I love St. Augustine and try to head up there every year for a weekend.
