This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.
I recently received a pair of No nonsense tights and leggings to try out, and these are the outfits I came up with! Let's start with the burgundy tights - I love the color, and the fit was incredibly comfortable, because they have control top but were not cutting into my waist. I paired them with a skirt in a similar burgundy color and my new loafers to keep the bottom half dark. For the top half I experimented with wearing mustard or leopard, but finally settled on a pale pink top and H&M plaid blazer.
The corduroy leggings were my next challenge. I've never tried a pair of these before and wasn't sure how to style them, but was impressed with how comfy they are! Air travel immediately came to mind; I think corduroy leggings would be the ideal thing to wear on a long flight. So I started with a shirt that is long enough to cover my back side (following the same guidelines as what to wear with regular leggings). A cozy sweater and ankle boots finished off the look.
Which outfit is your favorite? How would you wear corduroy leggings?
No nonsense tights and leggings are affordable and great for women on a budget. They can be found at food and drug stores, as well as mass retailers across the country. Check out the video below featuring fashion expert Jill Martin, and be sure to keep in touch with No nonsense on Facebook!
love the second outfit with the sweater and blouse -- looks perfect for winter! xo

Love both outfits, love the color combinations in both of them especially in the first one! Also really love those loafers, where are they from? I don't see your usual list of pieces you are wearing...
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look great, but I love the idea of corduroy leggings! They look super comfortable! Source for your comfy sweater?
ReplyDeleteI like the corduroy leggings outfit. Is No Nonsense giving any discount code for buying from your link?
ReplyDeleteI love the corduroy leggings! I don't think I've ever seen them, but they're definitely something I think I'd love. Cute outfits!
ReplyDeleteLove both looks, those leggings look like pants.

I love both outfits. I would love to know where you purchased the pink blouses in both pics.
ReplyDeleteoooh, I love the idea of corduroy leggings! I will be looking for these!
ReplyDeleteLoving the legging look. You're right - it does look perfect for travel days.
ReplyDeleteI love the look with the leggings- very cute and comfy!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfits, the leggings and tights. I would wear them the same way as you styled it with a sweater that covers my behind. They would be perfect for traveling. I'll have to take a look at their site.

ReplyDeleteI love th second sweater. Where did I get it
ReplyDeletewhat size did you get in the leggings?
ReplyDeleteI love the second look!! I actually just got a pair of corduroy skinnies (which could essentially pass as leggings haha) so this was a great outfit to get inspiration from :)

What color are the leggings? I was looking on their site, but can't decide what best matches your photo! That look is definitely my favorite, although I love wearing colored tights.
ReplyDeleteThe box says Espresso! :-)
ReplyDeleteI got a size S, they fit a little loose in the waist (pant size is 4-6 on the S, which is a couple sizes bigger than I wear so makes sense!).
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristin! The shirt almost looks the same in both pictures but the top on is sleeveless and I got it at TJ Maxx. The bottom one is long sleeve and it's from Victoria's Secret!
ReplyDeleteComfy sweater is from Gap, circa 2009.
ReplyDeleteWas just grabbing the link for you, glad you found it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the first look!!
ReplyDeleteI like the 2nd look! The cord leggings look so comfy and cute! :)

thanks for sharing! i'm always looking for opaque tights ... so many of them end up being just not thick enough!
ReplyDeleteNot your best outfits J! Sorry! xo
ReplyDeleteWould you recommend them for taller girls (5'9' and up)?
ReplyDelete5'9" is only a bit taller than me so yes definitely, much taller than that might be tough with the leggings though!
ReplyDeleteI love your skirt - where is it from?
ReplyDeleteI think the top style is SO classy and professional, it really suits you! But I could do with a bit more of your colorful signatures like your big, interesting necklaces and trendy tops or fun blazers for a bit more interest. And the bottom one looks cozy and comfortable but better than sweats.
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit with the corduroy leggings! I could see myself wearing that. It looks comfy and well put together. Where did your blouse come from? Love the color!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this info. I was looking for color leggings like this to wear with my boot & booties. I'm going to my Rite Aid right now to check the cord leggings out. I'm thinking about buying 2 colors.
ReplyDeleteLove both of these! I would say look number one is my favorite. I love how you paired the burgundy, purple and light pink together. I love the loafers, too! I am 5'7 as well and feel self-conscious at times when I wear high heels as I tend to stand out. I love how confidently you wear them!
ReplyDeleteKate, I'm 5'9'' and the tights worked on me! If you are all leg though they might be too short. I'm pretty even between legs and torso and they fit great :)
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in the first outfit! Looks great! I'd probably try for some texture interest and match corduroy leggings with sequins or fur.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous look! Love the bordeaux colour!

I love the pink and burgundy I might have to steal it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that second look! And where did you get that sweater? I'm obsessed!
ReplyDeleteLove both outfits and would wear both - one for work and one on the weekend. I bought a pair of corduroy leggings this season and love them. I especially like them tucked into my knee boots with long shirts and sweaters.
ReplyDeleteI love this! So wearable! And where did you get your sweater? I'm obsessed!
