I wore outfit #4 with the yellow shorts to run errands last week. When I snapped the photos, I got a *little* carried away coming up with different combos and couldn't help but share all four ideas with you guys! I would wear all of these versions, the first two for work, the jeans look for church and the last was easy breezy for running errands. Four choices, which way is your favorite?
Shirt: c/o Francesca's Collections, $34
Cardigan: H&M, $18
Brown pumps: Restricted/Endless, $40 (similar)
Jeans: American Eagle, $25
Yellow shorts: Gap, $35 (similar)
Brown sandals: Nine West/DSW, $60

The first outfit with the grey skirt is my favorite by far :) I have a similar sweater and I'm just loving the bright robin's egg blue with the vibrant orange!!

Adorable. Wish I could pull off orange but it looks horrible with my complexion!

I love all of these outfits! I am trying to figure out a way to wear the same item multiple ways in my closet to stop my boring outfit slump I've been in :)
ReplyDeleteI love and would wear all 4!
ReplyDeleteI love the aqua colors you've been wearing lately

I like them all but my favorite is the jeans- probably because it's more my style- something I can see myself wearing! Love that top!

I love this post, J! You look great all four ways, but paired with the jeans is my favorite. I like that the detail of the bottom of the shirt can be seen, and I especially like it paired with the dark contrast! Thanks for including alternate ways this top can be worn!

Cute polka dots. I'm still not sure how I feel about them. Seems every time I put them on they just make me look bigger than I am. Tips?
ReplyDeleteI love the 2nd and 3rd looks! I think I need those aqua pumps..
ReplyDeleteI just started a fashion blog, please check it out and let me know what you think!

I normally have a preference but this time I like all 4 looks equally. I would wear the first two to work, the third for an evening out with friends, and the final look for running errands in the warmer months.
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the LOFT sweater you featured and I love it. I've been wearing it once a week, and I'm sure my coworkers are getting sick of it!
Love that top and the necklace is amazing.

I like the tan skirt and the jeans. Super cute. I love making lots of different outfits from a single item. It feels like my closet instantly gets bigger. www.dreamboatfashion.com

i like the jeans look, but I find it interesting that you think wearing jeans to church is respectful or acceptable. But then again, you also where mini skirts to church and get a divorce.
ReplyDeleteRude.
DeleteTry working on your grammer passionfashion..and your awfully judgmental for someone who is religious!
DeleteI like #1 for work - the camel skirt gives the right contrast. I like #3 for more casual and agree with the pinner that comments on the shirt bottom detail. It wouldn' t be my first instinict to tuck it in, so thanks for the ideas. Also love the necklace, have you featured it much in the past? I just started following you about 6 weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI got the necklace for my bday in August, so haven't worn it too much yet! Maybe 2 other times? You can see all my outfits in chronological order in photo albums on my Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteThe jean outfit is my favorite but I would wear all four. Another great way to show how you can get the most out of your wardrobe if you remix new pieces with stuff you already have in your closets. The options are endless with that top. Another great outfit inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove it every way! I think my favorite is with the jeans!

They are all great but I like number three the best. The color combination is great. It looks like the perfect outfit to brunch or dinner with friends. Living in the north, I have to say I am jealous that you can still wear shorts! I already miss them.
ReplyDeleteLove love love these colors! I think the gray skirt and the jeans are my favorite! Great necklace!!
ReplyDeleteI love the jeans with the blue shoes. So excited to find your blog I am totally clueless when putting outfits together.
ReplyDeleteI love these segments that you do...showing how versatile one wardrobe item can be. I love outfit 1 and 3 the best. Had you never shown 3 and 4, I would have never guessed the silhouette of the top.

Great outfit. Love how you showed it 4 different ways. Its always good to see different ways of styling things.

I saw your first outfit and thought "wow! such a cute outfit", then I saw the second and thought, "I like that one even more", this happened again two more times! Nice job putting together such cute outfits! I might need to buy that shirt....
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are #1 and #3. LOVE the jeans! Question: how do you tuck that shirt in and not have it looking bunched up at all?
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
I love the color combo in these outfits! Www.unexpectedlyfashionable.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is #4, with #3 a close runner-up. That necklace is awesome with the top :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Talie! That is an excellent question. I think the elastic waistband on the shirt helps keep it in place, and it matches up with the waistbands on my skirts!
ReplyDelete1 and 3
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is number four - I love the top with the yellow! #3 is a close second!
ReplyDeleteI like the first skirt best, but that's probably because I'd love to have a skirt that color!

Each one is better than the next! I never thought polka dots could be so versatile!

I love the brown pump! The similar version noted is very cute, however, are yours available at a retailer? They seem like a staple shoe as I browse your blog. Adorable and would love to know the brand!
