Okay, so I'm a tad obsessed with this shirt. I've posted 3 outfits with it in a short period of time, but this outfit was just too cute not to share. I loved the inspiration photo, and I'm a fan of the end result (I would wear this shopping or to do a closet consultation). This outfit would also look great if you subbed in yellow jeans or a yellow pencil skirt, and any of the tops pictured below would work in place of my sold-out Limited top. Are you a fan of the geometric prints trend?

I love the geometric look! I actually just purchased the geometric skirt that matches the top in your inspiration photo. It is already a favorite closet staple. Since there are so many colors involved with this style, it's fun to pull from that to create several looks. Heather
ReplyDeleteJ-love this look as well! And who cares that you've sported it a lot lately, get your monery worth!

When you bought the shirt and the first time you wore it (The Big Bang Theory style) I didn't think about buying it. Now I regret so much! I love this look!
ReplyDeleteso cute - love how all the colors from the shirt are tied in with the other pieces.

I much prefer your look to the inspiration photo! I think the Limited top was clearly a great buy, so nice to see it in action with so many different bottoms.
ReplyDeleteFun look, great colors.
ReplyDeleteI got this top because of you J!! :) Wore it with a red pencil skirt and black trouser pants...my office is pretty conservative. But received SO much compliments on a top I probably never would have thought to wear to the office so THANK YOU!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these prints! Fabulous! xo, Julie

Love that you have started wearing your hair natural and wavy! ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, J! I love all the bright colors together and that top is so cute! I'd wear it all the time too :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun and youthful ensemble, perfect for a day of shopping and quality time with girlfriends. The blue clutch is a great choice. And I'm glad you chose shorts, I don't agree that a pencil skirt would go with the rest of the outfit.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Geometric prints are so fun, and I adore your clutch!
ReplyDeletelove those shoes! i think i'd wear those like crazy in the fall with some slim pants - will have to find myself a pair!

I love your look, but I'm definitely picky about geometric prints. Sometimes they can come off cheap or juvenile. Your top and the inspiration photo are definitely sophisticated and lovely. I'm not so sure about the three other options.
ReplyDeleteI have a silky, cap-sleeved, geometric-print, pullover blouse----(that I've had for years, but have seldom worn)----which is a very pretty, *bright, neon white*, with a couple of black-and-white-striped "rectangular box shapes" diagonally across the front............ and with some very thin, diagonal stripes of cranberry red, *mustard* yellow, and cobalt blue, also across the front. (The back of the blouse is essentially all white, without any geometric print).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I always wore this blouse with silky BLACK dress pants, because I had simply assumed that was "best," (i.e., particularly with a bright, geometric print top). Boy, was I *e.v.e.r.* wrong, J. !! I think my geometric print blouse has now just been............ "R.E.B.O.R.N.," (haha!!)............ into............ some potential NEW pairings!!
Bold colors and strong patterns. I like!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit!!!
ReplyDeleteI have one similar to your shirt! I love it too!
