Today's Everyday Fashion: Peachy Keen
Head-to-toe pink? Don't mind if I do. I slightly prefer her neutral shoes to my bright ones, but since both looks I've done with these jeans so far included nude pumps, I felt the need to switch it up. (And show you some different options!) My blush cardigan looks almost beige next to the vibrant colors in this outfit and tones things down, but it's still a bold look. Would you go for head-to-toe pink or keep your shoes neutral?

Greetings from rainy and cold Germany!

I am in love with this outfit, one of my favorite color combinations of yours thus far!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the neutral shoes, or maybe a different pop of color like purple or blue? But I like the top with the jeans!
ReplyDeleteI want top pin that outfit but it won't let me. Boo. Love the look.
ReplyDeleteYou should add the "pin it" button to your posts. :)
I love the different pink tones!

I think this outfit is so pretty! The colors are just perfect together!
ReplyDeleteCreamy
Love all the summery colors, and ypur skinny jeans are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It's bright, but it all works!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a really cute look! It seems like a fun summer take on monochromatic. I do like the nude heels better, but everything looks great together.
ReplyDeleteI actually love your look with the pink shoes. The colors balance each other.
ReplyDeleteI think I would opt for the nude shoes vs. the pink ones, but otherwise the outfit looks really cute.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely would go with the pink shoes! Great choice!
ReplyDeleteDespite being a redhead, I would definitely do pink head to toe! The shades are different enough that it breaks up the look so it's not too much. This looks so fresh and fun!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this look! I know Old Gravy has colored denim and I'm dying to reclaim a ballet pink cardi I've been neglecting... Gonna try to make this happen! As they say on Mean Girls, "On Wednesdays we were pink!"
ReplyDeletei would TOTALLY do head to toe pink. i LURVE pink... it's my signature color :)
ReplyDeleteI've said it once before, I do not like the color pink so this is why I'm not obsessed with this look. But I still think you did a really good job with it. Although I think nude pumps would have been nicer, I understand why you chose the pink ones.
ReplyDeleteClick on the "plus sign" beside the print button and scroll down. It's there. :)

This outfit gives me inspiration for some shorts I have in a similar shade of bright pink. I'll have to try them with peachy or pale pink hues.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! LOVE. :) I will have to try this out. Although probably with shorts. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this outfit. I adore pink and am loving it head to toe on you. As always, gorg!

Cute look! I would do the neutral shoes though. When I'm wearing totally bright colors, I need SOMETHING neutral to hide behind haha.
ReplyDeletesweet like candy :)

I love this look! It almost has an overall ombre effect. You look awesome and the red pumps were a great choice.

This is a very stylish look. The peachy / coral tone looks great on you & we love your suggestions for readers to build the outfit themselves. We'd also like to suggest our J.R. Nites blouse http://www.ladiesoutfitters.com/j-r-nites-43985.html! Keep up the great posts!
ReplyDeleteSome of your other Commenters have already said what also just struck me, too, i.e., about today's outfit having an overall ombre effect!! Ombre color effects always remind me of The Northern Lights............ i.e., my husband and I used to live in North Dakota, and The Northern Lights, (or The Aurora Borealis), were *really stunning* there, with the colors either going from brighter---->>paler........................ or from paler---->>brighter, (as in YOUR lovely outfit today)!! Although I don't know this for sure----(and you sure don't have to worry about this, J., with your great figure!!)----if you're, say, "Heavier On The TOP And Smaller On The Bottom," wearing your Graduated-Color (pink-and-peach) Outfit, as it's styled here, might tend to............ draw your eye AWAY FROM your paler cardigan and top; and DOWN TO your *brighter* jeans and shoes............ and that might help to "balance" your figure!!Alternately, if you're, say, "Heavier On The BOTTOM And Smaller On The Top," (as I am!!) wearing your Graduated-Color Outfit here with your (cardigan-top-jeans-shoes) colors EXACTLY REVERSED----(i.e., a bright fuchsia-pink cardigan; a medium pink top; peach jeans; and blush-pink shoes)----might then tend to............ draw your eye AWAY FROM your paler jeans and shoes; and UP TO your *brighter* cardigan and top............ so, doing a simple Reversal Of Today's Outfit Colors might help to "balance" your figure in that way!!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed the all pink look! So creative : )
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate (always ;)) to the more neutral tones, so I love the nude shoes, but, you're just such a dolly you can pull those bright ones off!! Great monochromatic look!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun look! I just found you via Pinterest, and I'm totally adding you to my reader!
ReplyDeleteI think either shoe works, but since you're already doing the pink, why not add the pink shoe too! Yours are darker than your pants which grounds you in a way, so it works, but if you only had a lighter pink I think I'd skip it and go with the neutral.
My brain is having a hard time reconciling the fact that I love this look, because I always shy away from pink. I don't think I own a single pink thing. Yet, your outfit is really fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you Katie and welcome to the blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love all the hues together! Its not too much, just enough to make it a cute outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI'd go with the neutral shoe too, but I totally love this outfit! I love all things pink and feminine.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous
outfit! You look so amazing in feminine colors!
Pink is my favourite color.
ReplyDeleteI love pink pants and pink tops.
I must admit i wouldn't wear pink shoes with this outfit, but you styled it beautifully and did à great job as always! I'm so glad you took part in the Lauren Conrad's contest, otherwise i might have never knew your blog! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you!! :-)
ReplyDeleteInspiration....I was inspired by the Go Chic or Go Home. Will be fun to check out blog
