Today's Everyday Fashion: Bowling



I went bowling last night and this is what I wore! I wanted to be comfy but still wear something fun, so I turned to my favorite formula of long-sleeve shirt and shorts, with a color combo inspired by this J.Crew photo. (I also rolled my sleeves into a proper three-quarter sleeve cuff before I left.) I may have been the worst bowler on my team but at least I brought my A game in the outfit department. ;-) What would you wear to go bowling?

    Where do you find all these Jcrew inspiration photos?  I like a lot of the looks I see in the catalog, but when I go on their website, often there is just a picture of the item as is, not even of a person wearing it, which makes it hard for me to know how to style their clothes.

    I love the J. Crew shirt! I can picture this with the bowling shoes and it would look great! In the summer I would probably wear something similar bowling. I'd wear shorts and a looser fitting top so I could move easily.

    Thank you , and yes, true to size! I'm wearing the size 2 which is nice and roomy and gave me plenty of room to swing a bowling ball. ;-)

    I am always drawn to the shorts/long sleeve combo as well! Sometimes it's not practical for the heat but I can't help wanting to wear it! :) This is a great outfit as always.

    Absolutely adore this outfit, and LOVE the color combo!  I think I have this very same blouse, in chocolate, circa 1994... the classics never go out of style.  Sure do wish that purple were available.  You look wonderful! ps--great legs :)

    Love purple and yellow together.  Purple is one of those colours that, for me, goes with pretty much everything.  I'm so jealous of your beautiful legs.  I don't wear shorts because I carry my weight in my legs.  Love your posts and have been forwarding them to my sisters and friends.
