I've been seeing orange and pink outfit pairings everywhere lately! So this weekend I decided to give it try with my own clothes. I wore this outfit to dinner with the girls on Saturday night. I made one small change - I wore these emerald green earrings (which you can see in the pic below) to add a bit more color. It's a fairly simple look, but so cheerful and I love it. Orange + pink - too much color, or totally your style?

ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun color combo - I really need to add more orange to my life!
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo
ReplyDeleteWhat could I search to find your top on MJR?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
You're right, it's everywhere! I also like red with fushia.

Love the pink and orange combination, here is another cute orange skirt from gap, the cotton eyelet look is casual enough for day but could be dressed up at night

I can't find the top on mjrsales.com. What did you search for?
ReplyDeleteWow... you are stunning.

Love it!! The white background totally makes it pop 5x more which would make me a little hesitant BUT seeing your picture from wearing it out totally makes the hesitation go away. Looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is more color than I'd normally try (especially as pale as I am), but you make it so wearable, and it looks absolutely fabulous with your tan!
ReplyDeleteI have those combos in my closet but I'm hesitant to give it a try at work. It might be a bit too much. But I think it's perfect for going out!

Beautiful picture of you and your friends! Loving the pink and orange together and love that you threw in a splash of green. Perfect outfit for spring!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my latest post to get free shipping from the Esty store, "The Nautical Wheeler"! Beautiful jewelry designs!!www.rachaelkhawkins.blogspot.com
I love pink and orange together! I was getting ready to wear that combo this week but today I woke up to rain. Boo. You look awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! I'd have to chose one or the other for work, but I would secretly wish the entire day I could wear the outfit like this! Love love love the color!!
ReplyDeleteMy strategy for MJR Sales is just to check the New Arrivals - that's where you find the best stuff! The search function isn't the best, but it's the MODA SHEER 3/4 SLEEVE BLOUSE. (I actually just ordered it in blue, too!) Product ID is 425443.

ReplyDeleteI love color, but typically only use two at a time and complete the look with neutrals. I love the pink and orange combo and plan on trying it myself.
ReplyDeleteLove this color combo! Super cute idea for spring/summer! You look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome outfit that I totally would rock. Did I notice you wore turquoise earrings in the on-the-town pic?
ReplyDeleteThanks Lora! Yep, I switched out to emerald earrings right before I left - I talk about it/link to the earrings in my post! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love orange and pink. It is probably one of my favorite things right now.

I think your outfits are gorgeous but it's seriously a lot of colour. I'd love to be able to do this but it would never work in my environment. I'll continue to live vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Love your blog, by the way. I read you every morning :)
ReplyDeleteI like your outfit better than the inspiration! I love this colour combo.
ReplyDeleteNo way, not too much! I love this combination. And it looks so chic when worn with classic, fitted pieces like you did here!
ReplyDeleteLOVE orange & pink. I think it might be my favourite colour combo ever. Needless to say, I love this outfit :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one color combo I plan on trying soon! It's so feminine and fun!
ReplyDeleteI think it's fantastic that would you look at that outfit and think "needs more color", and then add emerald earrings. And then totally rock it!
ReplyDeleteI know. I think I may have some kind of color addiction at this point. The earrings are small though, right? LOL. :-)
ReplyDeleteI also think the skirt is a bit too short for work. But for a girls night out, I say rock the color! :-)
ReplyDeleteCuteness, thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteI love combining orange and pink! You look great!

I have that exact skirt and love it! I am now searching for pink blouse to go with it per your wonderful styling. I also have paired it with a black and white polka dot shirt from Loft. I put these shoes with it and it makes a stellar outfit (note, Loft has sales all the time so wait until these are at least 30% off!)

ReplyDeleteI love this bright color combination! I just bought a shirt that same shade of pink and looking forward to pairing it with a bright green skirt! The orange-pink is such a fun color combo and I like the idea of wearing orange on the bottom since it's not quite as flattering of a color to my coloring!
