Today's Everyday Fashion: Plaid in Boots
Rumor has it there's going to be a random cold day in Orlando tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. I love living in a place with warm weather all the time, but it certainly has a way of making a person excitable whenever there is an opportunity for boots and sweaters! I loved this quirky combination of pea green cardigan + plaid and think it will be perfect with boots for Sunday errands and church! What's your favorite season to dress for?

One of my fav looks yet. Guess I'm a simple type girl. Cute!
ReplyDeleteAdore this preppy look - especially like the way you tied your belt...so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThe jeans. Love them!
ReplyDeleteYes! So cute. I would have styled with a smaller necklace (but I still like yours). But I love that cardigan with plaid. My favorite season to dress for is Fall. I love jean & boot weather.
ReplyDeleteI love this look! I recently bought several plaid shirts to do this very look. Living in the Pacific NW means layers. I love the colors you used to create such a stylish outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI know you like the belt to give you curves, but I wonder what this would look like if you skipped it just once :-) For some reason the belt seems to be giving you bulk instead of a waist to my eye. But otherwise I love the combo of the sweater and the plaid.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Sunday looks... I'm rocking it right now :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I have a couple of plaid shirts I'm going to try this look with!

I don't think I could cope living somewhere warm or cold all of the time, I need the mix. Towards the end of summer I am longing for winter layering and all winter long I can't wait to dress for the sun!x
ReplyDeleteI love the plaid/green combo, especially with the brown accents. You gotta love Florida sometimes ;)
ReplyDeleteCute combo. Living in San Diego, I FEEL YA on the excitement of a day cold enough to wear boots and sweaters!
ReplyDeleteI totally feel the same way. When I first moved to Florida I couldn't understand why people complained about the beautiful weather, but I think any weather that stays the same too long can get a little monotonous at times! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin! This cardigan has funny little pockets that are definitely adding some bulk. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love plaid. It's always so comfy and classic looking!
ReplyDeleteYou can't been dressing for fall. It always reminds me of getting to wear new clothes in new styles for back to school and it's nice to dress warmly after a summer of minimal dressing.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteMy fav season is spring. But the thing that makes spring so great is the snow and winter before it, so you have to take the good with the bad.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think your version is better than the inspriation
