Oh, how this color combo makes me smile! I did an office look with turquoise + mustard here, but I'm loving this casual take on it, too. I originally put together this outfit for my trip to Austin, but it was freezing the whole time so it stayed in my suitcase. Now I'm sure I'll be sporting this around town for errands more than once this spring! Do you love turquoise and mustard together as much as I do?

I LOVE that color combo!! So fresh and pretty for spring. Is that LoveMode dress the exact one you're wearing? It looks like hers has a zipper up the front and is so short! You wear it much better!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE a polka dot dress and the color combo is great!!! I never really thought of pairing mustard with turquoise before, so you opened my eyes there! xx

I love those two colors together. They're so pretty and springy!
ReplyDeletelove love love!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the color combo! I also really like mustard with navy or like a burnt orange/red.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with your dress! I have been searching for the perfect mustard colored dress and how does it get any better with the polka dots?! Plus this color combo is just amazing, I am in love with everything <3 Amazing look!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit - it's probably one of my favorite's of yours! Perfect color combo :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! I've been fooled by that skirt again, every time you feature it I click on over to buy it, then I see how short it is on the model, bummer! I try to make sure that most of the clothes I buy are appropriate enough for my semi-casual job, but that won't cut it. I think I'll need to find another mustard dress though!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a fun color combination! Perfect for spring. Still not sure how I feel about mustard on myself but you wear it very well!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a unique color combo! And it looks fabulous on you. You have been such an inspiration to me and I have become more adventurous with color. I'll be trying this combo very soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindie! This dress is pretty short on me too. I definitely wouldn't feel comfy wearing it to work. I linked to a very similar shirt in the caption, but if I see any similar dresses I will let you know!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelsey! Yes, it is the exact same dress. Mine also has a zipper (if you look closely you can see it on my skirt), and it's also really short on me, but I sized up to a M and that helped! :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this look!! But when I clicked the link the it said product not found and I scanned through the dresses and couldn't find it! :( Did you purchase it recently? Again, LOVE the combo! Great look!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! Love this color combination.

Ahh, this is SO cute - I would never think to mix mustard with that aqua/mint, but it totally works...love the polka dots too!! :)
ReplyDeleteBoo! Looks like the dress is sold out since I posted it this morning. They have the same dress in other colors though - including more polka dots! And I linked to a similar shirt in the caption, b/c they only had size L left in the dress. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI love your mustard dress!!

Um, I pretty much love everything about this outfit. You look great, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love this look, but I can't wear skirts/dresses to work. What color trousers/slacks/pants would you add to a mustard top and turquoise cardigan?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors together! Lovin' that necklace as well :)
ReplyDeleteLove the mint and mustard combo and would have never thought to pair them together.......
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone that loves the color combo. And what a great, affordable find that dress is!

ReplyDeleteAdore this whole outfit. I have a trip planned the end of April that I'm looking for cute ideas of what to wear.
ReplyDeleteI love those nude sandals so much. I have looked on Nordstrom Rack and googled them with no luck. Do you have a link that might help me? They would be so perfect with so many things.
Thanks so much for all the inspiration found here.
I looooove this outfit. And yes, I love turquoise and yellow so much, which is probably why I love this outfit!

Thanks Kym! My sandals are more than a year old, and I have never, ever been able to locate them online (or locate a style name) so mine will likely be hard to track down. A reader told me they just got similar sandals at Target, though! And I was at Nordstrom Rack yesterday and they had similar types of sandals, just in different colors. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeletehm nice baby nice work keep it up i like your work very much soo cute girls here and awesome fashion designs!
ReplyDeleteWoot pockets! There is nothing that makes me happier than a dress with pockets. I love the color combo and the polka dots - perfect for summer!!
